Hands down, worse doctor ever.
Labs from primary care Dr. Showed RA. He looked and me and said no you don’t have RA. Did offer any labs or further testing.
He never looked at my chart. He said he doesn't treat osteoarthritis? He didn't look at my feet and hands. He said the reason my joints hurt is because of the hard life I've lived and it was my own fault. He is very unperfessional and aragonite. I was totally crushed by a car!!! He refused to give me any tests. I wasted 2 hours for a jokester doctor who doesn't know what he treats people for. I wouldn't give him a star at all.
Saw this doctor as a referral from my family doctor. He walked in without even asking me questions stating my test results were false positive. He wasn’t interested in trying to determine what was causing my symptoms or whether they were autoimmune related (the reason for referral). He dismissed me out of hand. I saw another rheumatologist who asked a lot of questions and ran more tests. She believes it’s definitely a rheumatology case. If you have a Rheumatology concern that you need to have diagnosed, don’t see this man! He doesn’t want to help people or diagnose people.
I wish I didn’t have to leave even 1 star, he is the worse Dr. I have ever been to. He was very rude! He totally disrespected 3 of WV’s finest specialists when I told him they had diagnosed me with 2 different diseases, He said they didn’t know what they were doing, I told him I had been diagnosed 31 years ago and had positive test results ever since, he said there are false positives, he totally dismissed my symptoms. He stood in front of me with his arms crossed and talked down to me the short time he was in the room. He is a total A** and he gives the whole Marshall facility a bad name!!!
I would not recommend Dr. Webb because he doesn’t listen to the patient regarding symptoms or medical history, he doesn’t answer questions, he is not encouraging to a possible improvement to your situation. His PA however was very knowledgeable and considerate more so even than Dr. Webb.
It's been great for about 30 years now. My psoriatic arthritis was brought under control with methotrexate and a biologic under his care. Even after having to stop biologics after several life-threatening we have pushed through and I have stayed surprisingly stable for the past seven years without that medication. I have no problem with Dr. Webb. Being efficient and succinct works for me. I will say also that the right amount of time and patience was used initially to nail down a diagnosis and treatment plan. Rarely a complaint from this patient over a few decades.
Bad Experience he is Rude he made me choose what Meds. I wanted to take as if I knew , He was always eating something when he came into the room. Rude
Okay, I usually do not complete reviews. I was just looking up Dr. Webb to obtain a fax number for his office and noticed all of the bad reviews so I feel compelled to leave one as well. I have been seeing him for over a year for my RA. I do not pay him to be friendly. I want his professional medical opinion. He basically has a matter of fact personality, which I do as well. I want the information, not to become his BFF. I have not had a bad experience at all. When something isn't working, he reevaluates and we try something different. He requests the required testing to make sure my body is responding to the medication. It is all short and sweet and to the point. I feel like the other reviews are based on the emotional aspect which does not make this man a bad doctor.
I brought with me copies of tests, labs, MRIs, notes, etc. He refused to look at any of them, because: "I just don't agree with those. I don't think they were right." . Even multiple MRI's that showed chronic bone marrow contusions, labrum tears, broken bones, disc protrusions, etc. He then decided to tell me that my labs were probably elevated because they usually are in overweight people. That he didn't think I had any form of Rheumatoid Arthritis, he wasn't sure what it was but he didn't think it was "really arthritis". Again ignoring the multiple MRI's I brought with me he ordered x-rays, which naturally showed nothing, which is why I had MRIs in the first place. My previous x-rays showed nothing too, but the MRIs did. I asked what he thought it was since he didn't believe my other doctors, doctors I'd been seeing for 7+ years, and he literally shrugged. This was honestly what I dreaded most about moving states. Having to go through all of the doctor hunting again.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
