Bait and switch. Or rather it was bait and "ditch".I am missing a front tooth due to injury.I was given an appointment to come in today for an appointment. Once I arrived, the big dikey insurance coordinator told me to pay $1700 upfront for a one-tooth partial I wouldn't receive for at least a week.What a waste of time. And the office staff was so rude. But I saw Dr. Bowen last week and he was equally as rude, dismissing my needs.Run from this Dentist and practice.

If I had to guess a motto for this practice it would be greet everyone with a handshake and a smile. I've moved quite a bit the last two years so finding a dentist has never been at the top of my list of things to do. After waiting as long as I did, I started asking coworkers if they would recommend their dentist. Low and behold Dr. Bowen's name came up and after my coworkers rave review, I knew I had found where I would be going for my checkup. I made an appointment and saw Shane two weeks later. The building was easy to find but parking was tricky as there are only a limited number of spots for the building which consists of three different practices. Dr. Bowen's office is on the second floor and I was greeted warmly by the three receptionists who all shook my hand (now that's a first). After filling out a form with the common medical questions, I was taken to a room by the hygienist who smiled and shook my hand as she introduced herself. She gave me a goody bag filled with toothbrushes, floss and tooth paste. She then explained the process that would take place in regards to x-rays, examine and cleaning. It was quick, easy and painless. Once the x-rays were taken, Dr. Bowen walked in, shook my hand and introduced himself. We went over the film on the TV above (yes they have TVs in the ceiling) and we discussed the questions I had. He was easy to talk to and very knowledgeable. It seems nowadays whenever you see a doctor, they are always in a rush and don't take the time to actually get to know you but I didn't once have that feeling here. Overall great experience and for once I'm not dreading coming back for my six month checkup.
