Doesn't care about making you better. Worst ever...horrible horrible horrible .
One of the best doctors I have ever been to! Thank you Dr. Scott for taking the time to answer all of my questions and beyond. He has everything in office from vaginal ultrasounds to a lab for blood work. I too am very sad that he no longer delivers babies but will recommend him to all my friends for all other feminine issues. If you want a well educated thorough doctor that really cares about you, then Dr. Scott is the doctor for you.
Love love love Dr. Scott. Been going to him for many years, a friend recommended him. Very knowledgeable, very amiable, great bedside manner. I was bummed that he had stopped delivering babies and I had to move on to another ob-gyn when I got pregnant. But Dr. Scott saw me as long as he could. A couple of times I called him late at night (on a Sunday once!) and Dr. Scott always called right back. I landed in the ER, and he spoke to the hospital and he called me several times to make sure I was ok. And this was all after I had moved on to another doc. I wish other doctors had the same human touch that he has!
Dr. Scott is the best doctor in the world. He delivered my twins 11 years ago and I am so grateful I found him when I did. Yes, he may not always stay on schedule but that's because he takes the time to answer questions and doesn't make you feel rushed during appointments. Also, if you call the office to ask about a test result, he may actually get on the phone and discuss the results with you. We can't have it both ways ladies! Oh and get this: when I was placed on bed rest for my twins, he actually came to my home to check on me. Priceless!
I haven't been going to Dr. Scott for long (maybe a year or two), but I'm impressed. I had been going to a DC doctor that made the top doc lists, but made me wait (30-60 minutes) for a very brief annual exam. All the females in my family love Dr. Scott and convinced me to change doctors. On my first exam, Dr. Scott noticed issues (that my previous doctor had said I could ignore) and explained why those issues needed to be addressed. I appreciate the amount of knowledge that Dr. Scott has and his willingness to explain things in relatively simple terms. I didn't have to wait an hour for the doctor or nurse, either.
Dr. Scott is wonderful. He delivered our first baby. Though I was nervous and scared, he made the process a lot easier. I love him and I would recommend him to anybody. My pregnancy was ok overall. Dr. Scott was always there when I needed him. Our baby girl was 7 pounds and 4 oz at birth. She is beautiful and healthy!
I have been going to Dr. Scott for 9 years now. He delivered my son, but most importantly caught my Breast Cancer (Stage III B). I was 32 years old at the time, and went in to see Dr. Scott for breast pain. He sent me for a comprehensive mammogram which detected the cancer! Thankfully he did not ignore my pains and my age, and proceeded with testing. After I was diagnosed, Dr. Scott set me up with the Surgeon and Oncologist, which I still use today.Dr. Scott truly cares about his patients and follows up and does not dismiss your concerns. Yes..the wait time can be lengthy, but know when you get inside that exam room...you have as much time as you need!!! He also does on the spot vaginal ultrasounds for issues with ovaries, etc.The receptionist has worked there for many years. She may not be the friendliest, but once you give her a chance, she is very kind.I actually live in Ellicott City, MD now and still drive 1 hr 15 min a few times a year for checkups. I don't want to change Doctors! If you like a small, personal office, this is for you! Minus one star simply because it would be nice if he had one other Doctor in the practice for backup.
Dr. Scott delivered my first child and even though we are moving to Pennsylvania, he's SUCH AN AMAZING DOCTOR that I have it planned in my head that somehow he will deliver any other children that might come along too. Dr. Scott only goes by referrals and boy am I glad I got in because any stress that I had about having a baby went away purely because of him. At a time when friends were complaining about their ob/gyn practices, I had a one-on-one doctor who was there every step of the way and he NEVER made me feel like he didn't have time to answer my questions. Perhaps it threw off his schedule every now and then, but he never rushed me and if I was ever seated in the waiting room, waiting about 30 min or more for my appointment, I told myself, "There must be a woman in there with 1000 questions and he's answering all of them." I loved the comfy feeling of his solo practice and even the beautiful little silver spoon I got during my first post-baby visit. If I didn't have to go to attend to the baby that he helped deliver, I'd write so much more! ...
First of all, he is not open half days only. They have flexibility and you can be confident that Dr. Scott will be there when you need him. I even has his direct number to call him in emergency situation which I have had about 3 times. HE is a great doctor and his wife is such a sweetheart. I would not change Dr. Scott for any other. Too bad to see this negative review because I can assure you tha t the majority of it is not true.
Dr. Scott is a great doctor. I am not sure why there is a negative review about him but I can assure you that he is great. I am 6 month pregnant and so far he has been on top of everything. He takes his time during the appointment to explain everything thoroughly unlike other doctors that try to rush through the visit. Since is my first child, I have lots of questions and concerns, and every time I am nervous or concern about something, Dr. Scott is always there to answer my questions. I have had a few incidents that require immediate attention and Dr. Scott has taken care of me when needed. Most of my appointments are in the afternoon due to my work schedule. I never have a problem scheduling. He is closed on Fridays and he lets his patients know up front. About the receptionist, she can be a little hasty, but the Dr.'s care is all it matters to me. I careless about Betty, the receptionist. She can sound mean at times.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
