Provider suspected of up coding diagnoses. Not board certified or adequately trained in clinical assessment skills. Being nice dose not equal proper medical diagnoses and treatments.

I am so glad for these reviews. She started working in our area and two of my family members are working with her including myself. I could not be more pleased. It was so refreshing to be able to have her as a doctor. She’s very good at explaining my diagnosis and medication.

She seems to actually listen to me. I’ve never had a doctor do that. They always seem preoccupied. She gives her time and doesn’t make you feel like just another patient.

I’ve seen Dr. Farris for 7 years, I never got help from other psychiatrists before that. They had me on so much medication I couldn’t function. She helped me get off several of them and found ones that really worked without side effects. I drive an hour and a half to see her. Her care is worth it, she changed my life for the better. I highly recommend her to anyone and everyone.

I was over-medicated with dangerous drugs and didn't realize it until I stopped taking these meds. She made it very difficult for me to stop her 'services' She was still prescribing these meds even after I told her that I would no longer need Beacon Lights services and would follow up with my PCP. They made my life a living hell. I have been suffering from Beacon Lights wrong doings for over a year now. so sad
