List of Vishnu Patel Md's Reviews
You only see the Dr. On your first appt. After that it is the PA only. Office staff acts like 10 yr olds with no adult supervision. Extremely rude! Been going there for 6 yrs. Billing is horrible. At first i was getting bills from 6 months prior now I’m getting bills from 1 1/2 yrs ago! Don’t know why it took me so long to leave. I would never recommend this practice to anyone! Save yourself a lot of aggravation and headaches. Just don’t go!
Been coming here for about a year for my cpap machine never met the dr always his PA who is rude and undermining been looking for a mew dr and cant find one
The staff is sweet and very caring, They work extremely hard to get you seen in a timely manner. I love this office and all they do for the community
I have no immune system and tried to get them to work with me on a telehealth visit and they absolutely refused and said I would have to come in. I explained I can't get the vaccine because of a allergy and they said they don't have time to do telehealth that they went from seeing 30 patients a day to 70+,I said that's why I need telehealth. What time they argued with me on the phone they could've done a phone apt. All I needed was a new rx for my cpap. They do not care for the patient at all.
I visited Dr. Patel's office a total of 3 times to treat severe sleep apnea. I met with him the first time, and then was treated by the PA for the remaining two times. With the doctors and nurses, there weren't any issues with my visit. However, I would strongly recommend office and professionalism etiquette training for the reception/billing staff. In one particular instance, there was an issue with my appointment not being recorded (which I was completely fine with). The staff complained in front of me about "Sherry" not entering appointments and always getting onto them about it. In another appointment, I heard in the waiting room the staff refer to Dr. Patel as "slow", complaining about having to reupload insurance card, and one staff member (male voice) discussing getting into a fight with four other guys. I will say the staff at the sleep study were respectful, relational, and helped answer my questions regarding my sleep study. Good job night team!
I believe this office directly contributed to the recent and sudden death of my father. They showed no initiative in follow up , no ordering of any tests outside of chest ex-ray though symptoms warranted it and were defensive when asked about care. I hope this is not your only option in the area for pulmonary care as their attitudes seem to be very casual medical treatment. They will only do the norm, preform no followup or otherwise become too concerned about your health. A negative outcome will be deflected from them and will fall back on you. There care and treatment is sloppy and lazy. If there is anywhere else to go please do so .

I have been going to this office for several years. I never see Dr. Patel, only his PA. I think she is probably knowledgeable, but I feel like she is constantly rushing to the next patient. I feel like she operates the practice like a factory -- in and out as quickly as possible. She acts annoyed if she has to take the time to answer a question. It takes forever to resolve medication issues, such as authorization requests, etc., resulting in my having to go without medication that is needed. I always find the office staff and nurses to be pleasant. I think the PA needs to take lessons.
I was admitted into Princeton Community Hospital with respiratory failure on 1-11-20 on 1-14-20 Dr Patel went into my lungs with a camera. To my dismay I did not get a follow up with him before I left the hospital about the procedure. The hospital however set me up with an appointment with Dr Patel in his private practice on 1-29-20. I went to my appointment and was denied to be seen because I did not receive my new Medicare card yet. Its rediculous, I just called Medicare and they told me the Drs office could have called and confirmed coverage. Which in my opinion wasnt even neccessary, he just saw me in the hospital and knew I had coverage. I still do not know what happened in the procedure he performed in the hospital. Needless to say I wont be going back!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
