Medexpress Urgent Care's Online Review Report Card

I was stung by a hornet, the Dr knew exactly what to do, so glad I went , feeling much better

Came in expressing an eye infection that had spread to my sinus/throat. Told me it was a cold, now a week later- its in my lungs, and I honestly do not want to pay to come back and see these horrible people. Turned me away the first night, had to come back first thing the next morning. And turned my 4 year old away on Saturday and that we needed to make an appointment, who at this point had also started showing symptoms. DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR LIFE OR YOUR LOVED ONES BECAUSE THEY CLEARLY DO NOT.

Facility is grossly understaffed for the business needs. It took 3 hours for me to be seen and I left sick without any medication because the pharmacies were closed by the time my appointment was finished.

The people up front are ok. But they are slow all the time, every time. Makes one wonder what actually goes on behind those double doors.

Today I was in the Weirton MedExpress on Three Springs Dr. The the tip of my hearing aid was lodged in my ear canal. The Dr was able to extract the tip and I am so very grateful to everyone who did their best to help me. Thank you all so, so much! I am so relieved that my ear canal is clear now! You have my highest recommendation to anyone who needs immediate help. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!!

They were very fast with the drug screening. They told me how my people were ahead of me and it was like no time and I was done. Thank you

This was the most humiliating experience I’ve ever had with any health care “professional” they should check their website before turning patients away when they are seeking medical treatment at a medical facility. I was turned away AFTER being signed in and triaged, only to find out that they DO treat for what I needed. What I needed was humiliating enough to talk about and I swear the entire room full of medexpress staff knew why I was there. I feel like they didn’t like my tattoos and my medical history. Only nobody has ever made me feel as low as this medexpress did today. They made sure I was seen so they could charge my insurance, even though I was turned away without the medication I needed for an urgent issue. I will never go back there and neither will my children & family.

MedExpress has to be the greatest invention ever! No one wants to wait in the ER for hours, or wait days to get into their PCP. I love them! And they never make me feel like I’m NOT sick, they take me seriously. Thank you so much for being there for me.

Excellent customer service upfront. The medical assistant was kind and listened to all my problems. The NP was very smart and made sure she went over everything and made me feel very listened to and comfortable. Great care is worth the long wait (even though I didn’t have wait long!). Great overall experience!
