My husband would not go to any doctor. Due to hospitalization, he had to see someone. Dr. Paxton was chosen. He is very happy witn him. He takes his time with you, listens and schedules any tests you need. I feel very confudent with him.

Dr Paxton serves both myself and my wife. We moved to Wheeling 2 years ago. We find Dr Paxton to be a real plus to our health plan. Has plenty of knowledge and kindness. My wife has a rare disease and he referred her on our first visit. Trust him completely!

Very disappointed. I have critical issues and he doesn’t know much about my disease. Two Times he diagnosed inappropriate conditions. Not confident of himself.

Very friendly and listens well. He is quick to diagnose and refer to other doctors if needed. I recommend Dr. Paxton to anyone looking for a new family doctor. Some staff and receptionists are difficult to deal with, but that doesn’t take away from the doctor.

My experience with dr. Paxton was very very good. He listened closely to my concerns and responded appropriately to them. I had severe back pain to the point that I could not walk. He ordered an MRI and anti inflamatory meds. He was not arrogant and it was easy to discuss my issues which were multiple. Like any Dr/Patient interaction the patient must be totally open and honest with what is going on and if there is disagreement on how to proceed you must state your case. Sometimes the doctor really does know more than the patient.

Charges insurance unnecessarily. ordered labs. Said to go to Wheeling Hospital lab and next visit he will order one more lab. This appointment was for a PAP that he doesn't perform but kept the appointment to tell me that. Rude. Focused on: Knowledgable on what my insurance will pay.

Terrible! Young and inexperienced. Changed medications which took years to get adjusted properly with previous doctor. Now all kinds if issues with side effects, no quality of life. Paxton completely ruined what took years ti establish and refuses to try and remedy. I am now having a difficult time with life and finding a new doctor. I would not go to Paxton, don't chance it.
