Dr. Wolen didn’t belittle my phobia of surgery. He treated me with kindness, and I would trust him to do it again. I’m sure I’d still be a neurotic mess, but I also know he will make every effort to minimize my anxiety. And that speaks volumes. His staff was great too. Dr Wolen is so thorough and caring. He takes the time to explain the procedures to you and reviews all the processes. Nicole is so friendly and helpful and is caring as well. She takes the time to talk to you, listen and explain things as well.

My surgery on August 25th. Dr. Wolen and his staff really was very nice , I felt at ease with them.

Great doctor even my pcp was impressed by his work and said she would start referring people to him. If I ever need any other surgeries I will use him and highly recommend not only him but his entire staff,they were all great.

Dr. Wolen did my surgery and he did an amazing job. He and his staff are very nice. He will be my surgeon if I every need another one.

My mom went in for gallbladder surgery and ended up being lifeflighed to Pittsburgh. Pittsburgh UPMC saved her life and she spent one month in the trauma ICU. I would not go to him if you are high risk.

My husband had surgery with Dr Wolen on April 18,2019. He did an outstanding job. Thank you Doctor!

My mom went in for simple gallbladder surgery with this doctor and she ended up being life flighted to Pittsburgh, PA. Were UPMC saved her life. As a result of this mess she has had a total of 12Units of blood (over the course of two hospitals) and two emergency repair surgeries just to stop her bleeding! And just to keep her alive. For a month she has been in the Trauma ICU at UPMC just to keep her alive. Two weeks being intubated. One month later she is NOW finally awake and alert, on bipap to keep CO2 in check, and almost off nasal feedings. Her kidney function is starting to come back and she may not need temporary dialysis anymore. Yes her kidneys went into acute renal failure because of her excessive bleeding. She missed thanksgiving with her grandchildren and will now miss christmas thanks to this simple surgery. If high risk do not use this doctor period!!!!!
