Staff is rude and not helpful 😒. Had a surgery late August 2022. The surgery made me worse he made my legs weaker, pain and rt drop foot worse. 8 hour surgery. I complained to Dr Turner after 2 weeks I was worse. A week later I got another surgery with no explanation. I should have ever gone to this doctor. I told him I wanted a second opinion, the doctor and the staff shut me out.

2 surgeries in a month, I now have severe leg weakness and back pain. He wanted to do another surgery I said no so he dumped me as a patient.

Years ago did surgery on my mom and then refused her follow up care. Gave us $40 and said go home. Found out he had used the wrong materials during the surgery, from what we were told by doctors in Colorado. Turner ultimately killed her quality of life but she forgave him. He will pay eventually. Maybe he did well for others, but please ask around.

He has been seeing my daughter for a back injury, he is so caring and has been great, during a difficult time.

Great surgeon !!! He listens and he cares, 2 quality's that hard to to find.

I was suffering for a long time with serious nerve impingement and herniated discs. Thank God I was able to get into see this Dr., he wasted no time in trying to help me and control my pain. I was scheduled for a neck fusion, as there was no other choice to help me. I appreciated how he talked to my family so openly, and honestly. My fusion is slowly healing but these things do take a long time to heal. My pain is almost gone and I’m getting my life back. Dr. Turner is absolutely the best and most caring Dr you will find.

I waited to get an appointment with Dr. Turner for 3 months. Everyone told me it was worth the wait and I couldn't agree more. He took the TIME to really explain everything to me and go over my films and answered all of my questions. He also made sure my wife had her questions answered. We originally saw the neurosurgeon in town because his wait time for an appointment was less than a week. Now I know why. The guy was arrogant, rude, and wanted to immediately sign me up for surgery. We waited over an hour in the waiting room, but after my appointment, I see why. He never made us feel rushed and didn't want to rush to surgery. I ended up needing surgery, and I have never felt better.

It took a while to find a Dr willing to touch my back. And my very first impression was amazing. It took about 10 months for him to prove to himself and my insurance carrier that spinal fusion was my only chance. From the very first visit he had a plan of action already set. I could see as we spoke that he was invisioning what his plan of action would be. My only issue was he tended to speak to my husband instead of me. And he posed his questions to him and not me. I found that annoying. But if he could stop my constant pain and straighten my spine I was happy and all in. My surgery was only suppose to take anywhere from 6 to 10 hours. But instead took 18. My face looked like a basket ball. Then once he was inside he discovered I not only had the 53% S curve in my lower back he was aware of but also that my spine was twisted at the top. So I was cut from T2 down to L5. But he sewd my long insistion up really nicely. My scar is very very thin. About the size of a #2 pencile lead. Plus I have a wine stain birthmark on my lower back above my butt. And Turner sawed it perfectly back together. It looks exactly the same way it looked pre surgery. No one else I know who had spinal fusion has a nice thin scar. My only thing I wish he had done different was anker screw placement. And that he would of explained to me why it was crucial to attend in house therapy. So I’m still standing leaning forward. But I’m basicly pain free.

As a nurse and a patient I can say with confidence that Dr. Turner is one of the best. He helped me a lot and his professionalism and kindness to me was excellent.

Dr. Turner has done several surgeries on me, from the top C-spine to the bottom of my T-spine . He's done some pretty amazing things for me in the last 5 years . He is very knowledgeable, knows what he's talking about, Professional, and seems to really care about his patients. It's hard to schedule with him, and usually a bit of a wait on appointments, I don't mind because he's always spent the time with me explaining what's going on or needs to go on. His office is a bit of a different story !
