List of Dimiter A Orahovats's Reviews
I had been a patient for over 22 years. At my appointment 9/20 he was upset I stopped all the meds got pain because they no longer worked condescendingly asking, ‘well do you take any meds I prescribe’? At my next appointment in March 2021, I waited in the room for 45 minutes. When I inquired, they assured me he was just running behind. Five minutes later 2 other people came in and said he wasn’t in that day. What? How did we go from there to here? The following week I had a VIRTUAL appt which his nurse called and cancelled 20 minutes before because of a snow storm 3 days prior. At the time I was going through a severe health issue. He totally ghosted me. If you value your health, do not waste your energy with him.
I've been a patient of Dr. O for 6 years and have found his service to be top notch. He is very thorough in his explanations, and has helped me through a number of health issues successfully. I am surprised by the review by Tera S. in that I am fairly certain he has not been in Cheyenne for 22 years. On top of that I have always gotten prompt responses especially when I use the patient portal system. I have never waited an hour at UC Health for an appointment. In fact, when I could not get a response regarding a test result from another Dr., the office was able to get it for me. I consider Dr. O one of the best Dr.s I have had in my 70 years.
He was my doctor for 22 years. I trusted him. In the end, he ghosted my last two appointments in March and never responded when I inquired about test results for a serious health issue I still have. During one appointment, I sat in the room for almost an hour during which I paid for the visit online while waiting. When I inquired how much longer it would be, I was told he was running behind. Five minutes later, I was told he wasn't in today. They promptly refunded my payment with no record of any of it. The next week, my virtual visit was cancelled 20 minutes before the appointment. When I replaced his non care with another doctor, it took her almost an hour to remove erroneous information and diagnosis with no testing to back it up. Some of his assertions were never part of MY medical history. The end result? The Doctor who conducted the procedure in February offered to have me make an appointment with her office. (I didn't because I mistakenly thought I had a primary care doctor). My appointment with her is in December. Thanks for nothing Dr O.
Kind, thorough, and innovative.
He is the first doctor that listens to what I have to say and then acts on it giving me information I need and want. friendly, trustworthy, treats all my needs, he is careing about my health and tells me things that will help me. great doctor best I have ever known.
Dr. Orahovats is a great Dr. He actually listens to you and adjusts to your actual response to the treatment and not just a general green/red on a lab chart. He worked with me for years until my insurance changed to a different company, and as soon as I could change it back I went back to him. Between those times I met with a Dr. Godinhisownmind and got to go through a worsening of symptoms and a refusal to address anything other than a chart. He's hard to book for a reason.
Thorough history taking and good listener. Expects patient to follow his instructions and participate in their own care. Does take time to cover patient issues. Does review labs and any information from other doctors before seeing me. Only downside is that if appointment needed for illness, he booked up so then have to see someone else clinic who doesn't know you
Very caring Doctor. Explains everything to you so you don't have to ask many questions.
Extremely professional, conscientious, and thorough.
Dr. O as we call him has been my doctor for quite a few years. Problem is he has too many patients, getting an appt. to see him is a month wait. You'll get sent to the PA . I pay to see my doctor, not his assistant. The Biggest Problem Dr. O has is the staff. His nurse is very crabby and unpleasant. I'm being nice here. The person who schedules appts. is no better, and actually hung up on me after making an appt. I was trying to say thank you ... and click. I am changing doctors because I refuse to go into an atmosphere of hostility. Hey if you don't like your job quit, but don't take it out on the patients. The very people who keep you employed.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
