I left Bethany Dermatologist confused than ever!!! Dr. Ketchum didn't diagnose my sickness thoroughly. He diagnosed my case as a bug bite, instead of my cause with Scabies. I don't recommend anyone to use this clinic, it looks sketchy.
I have nothing but good things to say about Dr. Ketcham and his staff. I had a huge skin cancer on my ear, and after it was all over I have an ear left. Dr. Ketcham did an amazing job!!!! I will give him and all the staff 5 stars!!!!!
He is not personable at all. If you ask him one question and it isn’t related to what you’re already there for, he won’t even answer it. He just completely ignores you and tell you to make another appointment. I can see if it was something complicated to where he wanted to be able to bill insurance again. But if it’s just something simple he can answer… he should do it. I will find a new dermatologist.
Although Dr. Ketcham may be competent but when a patient leaves any doctors office they should leave with a good feeling not feeling like they are being ignored or are totally unimportant to their business. Dr. Ketcham is way too arrogant for my liking. Example: he could not take 10 seconds to look at a rash during an appointment for something else and I was told I had to make another appointment just to look at a condition that comes and goes. No bedside manners at all. Look for another doctor.
I find Dr Ketchum egotistical and unfriendly. He never takes the time to discuss my problems or to answer questions. He focuses on one thing at a time. He has removed 2 skin cancers and treated me for a very tenacious skin rash all in the last 6 months requiring about 6-8 visits in that time frame and yet at my very latest appointment he felt it necessary to introduce himself!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
