Afton Chavez Cobb's Online Review Report Card

Dr. Cobb was great, this review is not of her services as they were exceptional. However their billing department was a disappointing experience. I was billed an insane amount for a ten minute visit. I called numerous times over months to have the bill explained to me and nobody ever called me back to go through the bill specifying why it was so much. After months of them sending me the same bill notice I just paid it. Extremely dissatisfying not knowing if I paid more than I should have. I do not know how they can charge $800 for a ten minute visit and a couple spots on my forehead frozen off with a can. Really bummed on the experience after leaving the office. Again, Dr. Cobb is great this is not a reflection on her.

Dr. Cobb made a favorable first impression based upon her knowledge, professional attitude, and comprehensive exam. Her level of care was exceptional and far beyond what I have experienced previously from other Dermatologists. I recommend her highly and will continue to see her for Dermatologic care. In addition all of her office staff were excellent.

I had a great experience with Dr. Cobb. She was friendly and seemed very competent. I would not hesitate to recommend her to any of my friends. I never received any information about what was taken off my back. It was suspicious but don't know if it was a melanoma or what. I guess that doesn't matter because she was awesome as my grandkids would say!

Talked to explain what she was looking for, or what she found , as she examined my skin.

I called at 10 AM and, by a huge stroke of luck, Dr. Cobb was able to see me in just a few hours — and I was a first-time patient! My appointment was for 1:05 and the nurse came to get me at … 1:05! (When does that ever happen?!). A week of stress and anxiety was immediately taken care of, as what I thought could have been a “worst-case scenario” turned out to be and infected scratch from my new kittens. I felt like the weight of the world had been lifted from my shoulders! Both Dr. Cobb and LInda at the front desk could not have been nicer, more caring, and kind. I’d recommend them to anyone!

I had mohs surgery inWisconsin, just before leaving for our vacation. Dr. Cobb agreed to remove my sutures while we were visiting Teton national park. My appointment was on time and everyone was so kind. Highly recommended!

She has a great bedside manner and seems knowledgeable, compassionate and is overall great!

Dr. Cobb is an exceptional dermatologist who truly cares about her patients. Her staff is friendly and attentive! At my last visit, the receptionist even ran outside to help me to my car. Dr Cobb is extremely knowledgeable, we are so lucky to have her in Jackson!
