List of Nova Health Urgent Care - Laramie's Reviews
Do not go here is if you are a self pay patient. I had a 30 minute visit to get a strep test and left with almost a $500 bill. The test costed $54 and the rest of the charge was for the short visit. These prices are criminal for anyone looking to take care of their health.
Courtney Gordon has been my primary health care provider for about 13 years and I have been very happy with their service
I love all the people that work there. Courtney is the best and I trust her with my health
Quick, caring, efficient service. Thank you Courtney & staff!
Excellent service! Dr. Western is awesome, highly recommendable!
I want to be clear up front: the level of care I've received from Stitches and the providers there has been nothing but exceptional, and would earn 5-stars if it wasn't for the billing department at Stitches. For context, I have been going to Stitches for around 4 years whenever I get sick. However, in September 2020 I received a positive COVID test at Stitches, and my employer required a doctor's note for me to be able to return. I went in two weeks later, never left the waiting room, and one of the receptionists printed a one-sentence note out and had the provider sign it. Took about 2 minutes in total. A month later I received a bill for $284 for "Medical Services." Whatever, clerical error or what have you be, mistakes happen. It ended up taking AN ENTIRE YEAR of calling the billing department trying to get it resolved (all while getting bills threatening me with collections) with absolutely no help from anyone. I finally had to sit and write a Letter of Denial and submit it before Stitches billing department finally cleared the charge. Now, I never wrote a review when it happened as I figured my case was an isolated instncident, and the healthcare has always been really awesome up to that point. Until a co-worker of mine came in talking about the exact same issue with Stitches trying to charge him over 500 dollars for two covid tests he received in 2022! I don't know how Stitches has been for him in resolving his issue, but his description is almost identical to the issues I was having with Stitches, and I feel obligated to let people know (especially college students taking control of their healthcare for the first time in their lives as I had upon coming to Laramie) about Stitches' vile billing practices. I would highly recommend Grand Ave Urgent Care (or LPWWC if you're a female) instead, as they've been nothing but exceptional both in services rendered and in their billing practices.
I have had 2 visits here and the staff is phenomenal. They are kind, caring, and quick!
Everyone was super nice and were great to work with. I came in with a laceration on my finger and I was in and see very quickly. My only problem with them is that I was told I could get a few stitches or have my finger glued shut. I told the provider about my job and I would be working in water everyday. I asked for the stitches and she swore that the glue would hold for a week. She also said that the glue would also be easier for me to work with. So I listened to her and had the glue done. What I was unaware of was that glue isn’t supposed to be used on hands or feet because it degrades easily with movement and any moisture. The glue that was supposed to last a whole week did not even last 24 hours before it split and tore off. I did not even go to work that day, the most strenuous thing I did was fold my laundry. I had the glue fully covered when I was near water. Unfortunately I was too late to have stitches done. I had to spend $40 to fix the provider’s mistake. Everyone was great and I would go back but I am very frustrated about the mistake.
Super friendly staff and quick treatment. Very happy I came here as they did not make me feel bad about being sick, like other places do.
Cannot overstate how much I owe the lovely folks at Nova health. I received the J&J vaccine from them a few weeks ago, in preparation to go to France for a conference. Unfortunately, France changed their rules at the last minute, and my Vaccination wasn't old enough to satisfy them. I called Nova to try and get tested at 7pm the night before my departure, knowing they closed very soon, and that they were probably done testing soon. Not only did they agree to test me so late, they actually stayed late in order to run the test. Then, horror, my test came back positive (I had Covid a month ago, so it was a false positive) and they managed to do an antigen test with the same sample, which is less likely to have false positives. They completely saved my butt, and I am in France now. Thank you so much Nova health!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
