List of Wesley C. Crowell's Reviews
Always friendly at front desk. Nurse's are friendly and Dr. Crowell always takes time to talk to my child and ask him questions.
Just spent the last month calling my 2 insurance companies about 3 claims that were improperly filed by this doctors office over a year ago. Didn't find out about the claims and outstanding balance on the account until I called to make a sick visit appointment for my 2y/o. Then received nothing but collections threats from the receptionist about the bill. Had to resolve the issue myself when the doctors office could have done it much quicker.
AVOID. Told us for 3 years that my daughter didnt need tubes in her ears even with a ton of ear infections and her lack of speech development. One visit to Dr Hill and he assured us it was well past due. Will never visit this office again, nor would I refer him.
He's a good Dr. who doesn't let momma's tell him how to treat the child. Antibiotic aren't always the solution. Sometimes you gotta stay home with a child and take care of it. That's not the Dr fault
The receptionist can be a bit short which can be construed as rude but generally i never have any problems. Dr. Crowell is the type to just tell you the way it is he doesn't sugar coat anything and he talks to the kids and listens to them and then takes what we say in conjunction to find a diagnosis...he might be a little rough around the edges but hes a good a dr and he always makes my kids feel like they are being heard.
Great doctor. Always helpful
My daughters were patients for years. I have had serious doubts over time about his practices due to his lack of testing and diagnostic tools. My oldest suffered from fever, earache, dizziness, and lack of appetite with abdominal pain. She was sent for a scan. When I asked for a school excuse for two days later when she was still running a fever, he refused. His off hrs are M-Th 8am-4pm with a 2-hour lunch from 11am-1pm. Friday is 8am-11am. He lied claiming she never told him her symptoms.
The nurse practitioner is very good & very kind and seems to care about her patients dr there Na he DON'T believe In helping a kid get better and the lady's up front are ruide and not to friendly as the same for some of the nurse's that call u back to a room.
the nurses and front office ladies are the worst! I highly recommend finding a different dr's office to go to.
I have been going to this doctor for server years before they relocated into there new building and everything was fine. Since Now they have a lot more Patients they seem very irritable. They have gotten so unprofessional that the Receptionist Amanda hung the phone up in my face. I was dealing with my daughter turning 19 in a few month when I first started going to them they told me they see kids up to 19 which is the legal age to become adult. She wasn't 19 teen yet and trust, I was going to do just that but they lied to me and then the receptionist was giggling as if it was funny and then asked someone and the background could she hang up on me and they told he yes. I wasn't even getting nasty or anything. I just wanted to know why they told me one thing and now change it. My Son is still a patient with this doctor not anymore. Amanda really shouldn't be in her position . Customer Service Skills should a must especially a doctor office but not anymore Thank Mrs. Amanda Not only is my daughter finding a doctor My Son is also and on top of that I hope enough bad reports will make you find some where else New also Like a New Job

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
