Banner Surgery Center - Chandler does not have an adequate amount of comments to generate the sentiment analysis.
My experience was 100% positive. Everyone from the pre-op phone calls to the front desk to the prep area to the surgery room to recovery was polite, caring, efficient, and friendly. I don't not hear well and was advised to leave my hearing aids at home. Everyone spoke clearly to me; I had no trouble understanding.
Overall, this is a beautiful facility with wonderful staff. However, I had an awful experience with an ER doctor recently that floored me. I was in the ER with severe abdominal pain, and upon discharge was told that I needed to “stop abusing ER resources for a chronic condition.” I left, horrified, confused and angry at my experience. The next day, my GI sent me to another facility, where I was admitted for 5 days due to the same issues. I felt like the doctor really didn’t take the time to listen to my concerns and made a judgement call about me and brushed me off. My nurse was horrified on my behalf.
Relatively new building. We had to see the GI doctor. The check-in procedure was smooth, they weren't crowded, and we were seen relatively quickly. They then sent us to their facility across the freeway (Banner Ocotillo Hospital), but that's a different review. This place was fine.
I was looking for a new physician for my son. Before I made the appointment, I had asked if the doctor is in network and participates in the PPO of my insurance.I was told "yes" so I went ahead with the visit. Four months later, I get a bill showing that I am responsible for costs as the insurance didn't cover expenses because the provider is out of network at the time of service. As a patient, just be careful of misinformation. BEWARE!
Avoid this place. My 19 year-old son went into get his ear cleaned out. They charged him $111 to do nothing more than refer him to an ENT. They could have done that on the phone, but because they are blood-sucking vampires they needed to get $111 from him for doing nothing!

All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
