After many years of negative experiences, I was extremely apprehensive about engaging in therapy again. I first heard about transition counseling over a year ago and I fought with the VA for over a year to get placed with them. I had my initial visit this week and I was an absolute mess. All of the emotions and all of the feelings I had about starting therapy came to a head and I had a panic attack. They were so incredibly kind and gentle and accommodating in their responses. I was afraid I could never feel safe in therapy again and yet in just one day, they made so much progress in making me feel seen and valued Kanu and Marlee in particular were absolutely phenomenal

Had 2 different receptionist threaten with a 65$ no show fee as a VA patient when I communicated that my job would not allow me to make the appt. Someone needs to be held accountable, veterans deserve better. What a shame.

Bryanna has been super patient and engaged up in conversation that you don’t realize when she ask a question it’s to dig deeper. So easy to talk to and time goes by fast. I’m glad I finally looked for an in person therapy as it has done more for me then through video.

Working with Meagan and Transitions Counseling has redefined my life. She is compassionate and seeks out different ways to work through grief and onto healing. She gives the right amount of tough love and guidance, creating accountability for your own part in growth. The time I have spent working with her has been transformative and we aren't even done yet. I would absolutely recommend seeing her for short term help or long term, she has so much knowledge and light to share.
