I was so apprehensive about starting this therapy and thinking I would not fit in. Damon made me feel very welcome and so did all the other participants. I feel like I gained not only valuable techniques, but a great deal of confidence! I would highly recommend this class to anyone who has the need to learn more about your mental health and how you can participate more in your own life. It is a big commitment to attend 3 nights a week, but it was worth the sacrifices when I look at all I walked away with at the end of the program!
The therapists here are phenomenal. They want you to finally win and they have the skills and styles of therapy that can truly help. In my life they’ve changed everything. I will forever be thankful.
Signed up for the Employee Assistance Help opportunity through my workplace that allows an employee 3 free mental health sessions. Went through the helpline for local references for therapists. They directed me to this place. I was given a pre screening consultation over zoom with a staff member who was new and didn't have many answers to my questions. He assigned me to a therapist and scheduled me for a in person session. I called and canceled the appointment and they charged me $65 for a no show. I called and disputed it multiple times and canceled all other appointments. The billing department finally took off the $65 after 2 months. Now I just received a bill for $250 for the pre-screening. I have never stopped foot in this office and I am being harassed to pay for serviced that were supposed to be provided to me under a complimentary health care act for employees. This all started in October and they are still trying to bill me. This not the place you go for support. This is the place that will just exacerbate your mental and financial problems. Your better off anywhere else but here.
Kind, patient and very knowledgeable. One of the best therapists I have worked with. Highly recommend!
I went there for a few months seeking help. Instead, their clinical director called to blame me for their own administrative mistakes only adding to the issues I had.
I like the therapist I am working with. She’s understanding, patient and skilled. However I do not like that there is no one present in reception area, just an iPad sign in
Very professional. Very caring. So easy to talk to and open up to. Offered me many types of counseling since my insurance will not pay. I have Medicare and they will not file with Medicare. Also very fast appointment. Patient room was really calming.
My initial visit to Transitions counseling was good and bad. The bad first. When I arrived, there was no one attending the front reception area, behind the glass. A 3-5 minutes later, the receptionist came in from outside, but didn't acknowledge anyone in the waiting area. Kinda odd. Maybe a hello, your therapist will be with you shortly or any acknowledgement would be a nice jester. Now the good. My therapist Jacci, was great. She greeted me and had a pleasant demeanor. She was professional, personable and very thorough during my initial assessment.
Terrible experience, got jerked around at every step of the way. They can't even tell you what something will cost without 3 different answers
Christina Lapland was amazing and so compassionate. She really took the time to make my daughter feel comfortable in her time with her. Would highly recommend her to anyone!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
