I think because Ashley has a medical background coupled with having walked recently walked in my shoes; she knows. She knows how to navigate through the placement process, she knows what information to ask the case workers at the hospitals. She knows how difficult this process is. Ashley has worked alongside the people in this community building relationships. She came highly referred. Ashley arranged in this crazy Covid times, a beautiful care home for my dad. She arranged transportation and hospice services from an attentive service. All because ‘Ashley knows’. This should be her slogan. Guess this says it better – Ashley’s Heart Knows! As a care home owner, I have worked with many placement agencies over the years. I want to share my experience with Ashly Blackwell. She truly is an angel in our community. Yes she is professional, knowledgeable, responsive , an RN, loving and caring etc. etc. etc. but what stands out for me is her dedication to follow through in making the transition of moving your loved one as seamless as possible. She helps us coordinate everything from paperwork with doctors and hospital discharge ,arranging home health, physical therapy, to helping coordinate with a new pharmacy and even getting equipment set up on time, etc etc etc . Whatever we need, she is there for us as well as for the family . This is a rare quality that I appreciate so much. She takes pride in her profession and it shows! I am proud to say that I support and recommend her unconditionally! Iam proud and honored to have her represent me and my carehome.

This was the best phone call I ever made. I was not sure what to do or how to do it when my mother was suddenly in need of assisted living. We had looked into keeping her at home with around the clock care and quickly realized the cost was astronomical! There was definitely no way she could afford it.I received this information from the hospital before she went into rehab and called. When I spoke to Ashley she was very helpful and we set up appointments to visit different assisted living places in the area. We were able to get my mother into a great place. She was fine there for awhile. When she had another issue and was in the hospital for another 10 days we decided to look into a different place for her. I called Ashley again and again she was wonderful and helped us find a better place for my mother. She and my family are very happy with her care and could not have done it without Ashley and the Assisted Living Locators of Northern Arizona.

I called and you answered by prayers and dire need for help. You spoke so calmly and knowledgeable about what I was going through. You were forthright and honest in your assessment of my options and I thank you for your candor and trust. You guided me through the monstrous process of admitting him into the capable hands of Christopher Zambakari and Desert Haven of Arizona. You were constantly present and available until the process was complete.You advocated on my behalf with the hospital staff when they were ready to discharge him without regards to his or my family's safety. Your reassurance of the path we were on and the quick decisions we were having to make were like a blanket of comfort. The unbelievable knowledge and experience you have with the jargon and bureaucratic BS in dealing with such institutions is parallel to none.My family cannot thank you enough for all you have done for us. We will never forget how steadfast and strong you were while we wavered into unknown territory. She was the shining star in helping our family locate a reputable, caring, safe, and compassionate Memory Care Community for Mom, who is in the severe stages of Alzheimer’s Disease. And Dad was able to make a confident decision of moving Mom in less than a week! She’s a Registered Nurse who grew up in the Prescott, AZ area.
