Awesome drs and awesome staff. Highly recommend
I’ve been seeing my provider, Beata Pearce, via the Beverly Hills location for over 2 years now. She cheered me on through finishing my undergrad program, completing my first year of grad school, and even encourages me to pursue a PhD. Never have I had a clinician help me with medication management that also cares so much about my success and sees my potential. Doing it all with ADHD, depression, and other co-morbid conditions has been difficult, but I find it much easier to manage with Beata in my corner. I made the right choice when I decided to leave my old providers and contact mindpath. For those who have Medi-Cal, you may have received a rather short list of providers covered by your plan (if you even get lucky finding ones who even take new patients or still work with your plan). Those I worked with previously were cold, uncaring, rushed, arrogant and dismissive. Before I met Beata, I never felt comfortable enough to advocate for myself. I no longer have that fear because she respects my autonomy. She walks me through potential changes, gives me options about how we may proceed, we talk them through, and she asks me if I have any questions or concerns. With her nurse practitioner background, she also views my concerns more holistically, considering lifestyle and health related variables. I also love how she gently suggested concurrent psychotherapy when we started working together, and she was never judgmental during my periods of not seeing a therapist (I had to shop around quite a bit). She checks in to see how my therapy is going every time we check in. I’m so grateful mindpath works with my Medi-Cal plan! I couldn’t recommend her highly enough!
I’ve had an excellent experience with Mindpath Health, and I can’t say enough good things about my therapist, Shalesse Gardener. Since I started seeing her, she has been incredibly supportive, understanding, and skilled at helping me navigate some really difficult times. Shalesse creates a safe, welcoming space where I feel truly heard and understood. Her insight and guidance have made a significant difference in my mental health journey, and I’m so grateful for the progress I’ve made with her help. Mindpath Health has also been professional and efficient with scheduling and communication. Highly recommend their services, especially Shalesse Gardener!
I talked to a nurse practitioner and she was nice but I needed someone who can help with disability paperwork. I put that in the pre registration form so not sure why I was connected with a person who couldn't assist with that. She told me to talk to my gp but go's don't do disability paperwork for mental health issues. She also said I needed labs and an echo before prescribing depression med but called it in anyway. I'm confused.
I would give zero stars as possible. My physchririst was kind and sweet her name was gardener but I didn't feel comfortable after leaving our meetings that my needs were meet. I requested a new phyciatrist and it took 1 whole month for him to deny it meaning I wasn't seen by anyone for one month then denied. Ask them what my next step would be to be seen, they said I'd have to be referred out to a new facility for help. So because I stuck up for myself and stated I didn't feel like my treatment plan was correct for me and told my current physician that and she didn't agree. So then I went above her to ask for help from someone else because I am desperate for actual HELP, they completely kicked me out of their office and refused to help me with any physicians at all anymore. So hopefully I'd you do go here just make sure you follow exactly what THEY think is best for you because you won't have a say in what you believe would work. Very unheard and very by the books only no compassion.
Great staff. Great mental health professionals. Beata is great. She works with me. Shows empathy when needed and sternness when needed. Great help.
Totally useless, avoid at all costs. The provider I met with was great, this is not a review of her but of Mindpath overall. I have been calling for almost 2 weeks and as of today my issue is not resolved. I was told I would receive a referral. The first times I called I was just told to wait as it can take a few days to receive and then I called again and they said it was sent on the day of my appointment and the connected me to the provider who submitted it again. Every single time I call I get advice like "I don't know what happened you should have received it" "Have you checked spam?" The phone staff has seemed friendly but ultimately nothing ever materialized. I feel like I've wasted my money because I still have not been able to get the referral.
I am very excited about this experience. I thank you so very much.
The doctor had poor bedside manner and gave me a "cannabis use substance disorder" diagnosis for smoking marijuana after work. I guess the drug war wages on! Their online system is ancient and rickety. At least for LA, there is no online portal to speak of. They send an email with a link to the message but when you try to respond it errors out, forcing you to communicate over regular email (REAL secure).

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
