List of Chino Hills Dental Group And Orthodontics's Reviews
Insurance fraud. Untrustworthy. They bill insurance companies for work not done. This review is long overdue. I went to this dentist for about 10 years. 5 years too long. But I hate looking for dentists so I kept going hoping care would improve. There are 2 locations. I started at the 1st, then they sent me by the car wash. What I really didn't like is that every time I went they wanted to sell me extra services. They were like pushy car salesmen. The first time they said "oh you really need this fluoride treatment" so I did it. But then they were just going to keep doing it and charge me. I finally just started saying "no" to everything. But I didn't like the pressure. (I don't like car shopping either). They have a shiny clean office with state of the art equipment, but they made me feel like I had to get tons of extra treatment to help them pay for all their cool stuff. I didn't like that. The last straw for me was when I found out they were billing my insurance Co for services not rendered! For the 1st incident, it took me a dozen phone calls to speak to someone about fixing it, and then 6 months to correct it. My insurance Co couldn't pay my Endodontist because this office took so long to correct their over billing. Last Sept I went back for a cleaning. No xrays. Cleaning only. When I got the insurance statement, they billed for a full set of X-rays! I called them and told them. I had to leave a message because billing was busy. Of course, no one ever called me back because they never call people back. That was it for me. For all I know they've been over billing my insurance company for years. And I'm probably not the only one. They should be investigated.
Great services all around from the front to the back. Would HIGHLY recommend.
Thank you so much Dr Mashadian for taking care of my son. This Dr made us feel so at ease when it came to my son's wisdom teeth surgery. He went over everything and made sure we were explained everything. He has taken care of my entire family now and I can honestly say I trust this man with my life. I drove from the High Desert just for him and if I ever needed oral surgery services again I would make the drive again.
I was seen on 6/29 and had a laser and irrigation. When I asked if it was covered by my insurance, I was told no, it's not covered. I paid $480 for it. Come to find out that there is no out-of-pocket cost to me after I was sent an itemized receipt. When I called to complain and ask for a refund, Noe placed me on extended hold and then stated a manager was not available for 10 min. When I tips him I wanted to hold, I was disconnected. Called twice from my number in my chart and the call went to voicemail, called from my work phone, they miraculously picked up the phone after the first ring. Bring your plans details when you go and get an itemization before paying anything here! They're thieves!
Find another dentist this place is awful!!!! They always hours run behind, but if you're just a few minutes late they turn you away!!!! While if they are running behind, it's okay if they make you wait for 2-21/2 hours. Terrible place
Front desk is nice , however the dentists love to upsell you and pressure you to get a deep clean and make you believe you have gum disease or pre or whatever it's called . They said I needed a deep clean because everyone needs one ?The dentist made me feel forced to get a deep clean after asking for a regular one. I got one because I thought okay nice for a deep clean right ? Then they charged me $200 for the deep clean and make a 3 month appointment after for another deep clean and that I can get a laser deep clean for $200 and then a couple months later have my regular clean ? As well the most unnecessary things , like taking my blood pressure ? Or checking for throat or mouth cancer ? I have never heard of that ....
Very slow and behind on appointments. My appointment was at 1PM, but I wasn't taken to the back until 1:50 PM. When I was finally taken in, they had a new staff take my x-rays and it was a horrible experience. The staff told me this is only her third day working but she was left alone with me to take pics and she wasn't sure what to do. It was unprofessional for a dental office to leave an untrained staff alone with a patient like this. She had a lot of trouble getting the photos taken and I was uncomfortable for a good 20 mins... It may be time to look for another dental office..
BAD EXPERIENCE - Both my wife and I came here as new patients for a regular cleaning. Our appointment was at 1pm. We were supposed to have the same appt time (different Doctors) but they bumped me to 130pm. We were still in the waiting room at 145pm. There wasn't any communication of them running late or anything. Finally, my wife was taken back around 150pm. I continued to sit another 30 min before I got back. My wife said she got Xrays taken and then was sitting in the chair waiting for the dentist for another 45 min. She finally flagged someone down and asked what was going on. Then another 10 min later a dental hygienist came by and said she was going to take some measurements but left the room and never came back. So she sat for 1hr there waiting for service. Then a dentist came in to explain she needed crowns, some filings and a deep cleaning was recommended. The Dentist then brought the office person who does the insurance billing to explain how much it would cost her for all the "other" services which added up to over $4,000! She said I only came here for the regular cleaning and would consider the rest. The insurance person said they would not do the cleaning unless she agreed to have the deep cleaning. My wife has had regular check ups and only needed a regular cleaning but they refused and said they were set up for the deep cleaning and would go ahead and get started with that. My wife said no and they continued to pressure her. Together both of us were there for over 2hrs and both of us did not get a cleaning due to their tactics of trying to upsell us on other services and having them refuse the normal cleaning unless we went through with the higher costs. We've never seen such unprofessional people from a Dentist office. We were not the only ones in the office complaining either. There were others in the waiting room starting to yell at the receptionist about how long they were waiting. It's a wonder anyone goes there if they treat people that way. We certainly won't return.
We have been coming here as a family for years and recently we were told we needed over 20 thousand dollars in dental work each because apparently we have several surface level cavities that can’t be seen on the xrays. And apparently I need my two bottom front teeth removed because the are slightly tilted forward and they will eventually fall out? I have been to several other dentists and had second and third opinions and have confirmed that none of the work was necessary or accurate. Unfortunately they are interested in money and money only. After I canceled my follow up appt I received several appointment reminders that I did not make because they were scheduling me without my permission. Avoid this dentist if you want appropriate and good patient care.
Dr. Manoranjani Sambangi is so very gentle and compassionate!! I appreciate her sincere desire to make my visit as comfortable as possible. Thank you! Angelie designed beautiful crowns for me today! I am very happy with the results.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
