I've been going to this place for years. Prior to her retirement, Dr. Maki G was the go to for asian skin. The Korean skin look is hard to replicate and if you go too far you destroy your skin. Dr. G knew how to deal with hyperpigments and unevenness. Enter 2025 ultra clear laser. This gave me best results without too much trauma. I'd do it again in a heart beat.

My elderly mom visited Dr. Gary White at Coastal Skin and Eye Institute this morning to get a number of suspicious spots on her arms, face and back evaluated. She came with a list of questions and concerns for the possible treatments. Dr. White patiently explained the diagnosis for each condition and his recommendations for a treatment plan. He was able to treat many of the areas during her appointment and sent her home with a prescription for the rest. His calm and reassuring manner helped to put her at ease. After the appointment, she let me know that she wants to keep Dr. White as her dermatologist. The office was very clean, bright and accessible for her wheelchair. When we arrived, she was checked in promptly and it was just a few minutes before she was brought into an exam room. The support staff were all professional and caring. Knowing that my mom is receiving quality care in a way that she feels comfortable is so important. As her caregiver, I am very thankful that she was able to get in to see Dr. White.

Coastal Skin and Eye Institute was recommended by my medical group. I took my daughter to see Kira Tellache, PA-C. Instantly we felt relaxed with her nurse who was extremely kind and friendly. When Kia came into the room, she explained everything to my young daughter about a mole removal. My daughter was very nervous about having it removed, and Keira did it painless and quickly all while keeping my daughter talking. She was amazing. I highly recommend her to anybody.

I've been to this office 6-7 times over the last 17 months and neither Dr. Neeta Varshney or Dr. Michelle Crosby were able to assist with my unresolved internal chalazion that formed after an internal stye. They tried several steroid injections, several poor attempts to cut this out of my eye, all while making me wait endlessly in the waiting room since they overbook every single day. The best thing about this office is the specialist that checks you in, other than her, this office is a complete waste of time and money. I wasted a year and a half going to this office and seeing two doctors that could've cared less about my unresolved and very basic condition. Go elsewhere and save your time, money and peace of mind!!!!

A shout out to Katrina Torio (Receptionist) at the office. Extremely knowledgeable and always willing to help with any questions with scheduling. and Kira PA who has been treating my son's acne and Dr Nickerson too. I appreciate all that you do!

Dr. Derek Nickerson is wonderful. I had a depression in my skin from a kenalog injection I had gotten at another practice. I went to his office 3-4 times every 2 weeks to get the spot injected with saline. By the last visit, my skin was restored to its original texture and appearance. He took the time to listen to me and had great bedside manner. He also helped me with an ingrown hair, removing it with tweezers. I really like his medical assistant too, she's a pleasure to talk to!

Dr. Neeta Varshney is an excellent ophthalmologist. She is highly professional and very polite and considerate. She performed a lens replacement for me and the process start to finish was very easy.

Dr Michelle Crosby is simply the best doctor to take care of your eyes. I have even heard that mentioned by other specialists. The office is comfortable and welcoming. Highly recommended.

I always have good experiences in this office but I recently had an especially outstanding one! I had my eyes examined by Dr. Connor Caldwell. He explained what was going on so well, in layman's language as opposed to scientific terms. He also gave me helpful tips to keep my contact lenses more comfortable and told me about specific eye drops that would make reading and computer work more comfortable. I took his advice and noticed a huge improvement in my vision! My dermatologist is Dr. Sucharita Boddu. She is very thorough and smart! I was grateful to find her! She has given me excellent advice and care. I am happy to recommend this office to my friends.
