Top notch Dr. who really cares. He explains things very thoroughly.
After a soccer ball to the face broke my nose, I suffered a deviated septum for most of my adult life, which negatively impacted my ability to breathe and contributed to repeated sinus infections. Dr. Skelton not only restored my ability to breathe freely, but was impeccable in cosmetically straightening my nose. I can't say enough good things about Dr. Skelton. He is incredibly smart and highly conscientious and kind. He demonstrates excellence in what he does and I felt completely supported and cared for before, during and after surgery. I recommend Dr. Skelton without hesitation and if I ever catch another soccer ball with my face, I will seek him out again!
Very compassionate and wise. Dr. Skelton made sure I was comfortable and cracked a joke or two before surgery! I was smiling before and after waking up from anesthesia.
Got surfers' ear and it was 95% closed up...had other ENTs look at it and wasn't entirely comfortable with their processes and discovery and then met Dr. Skelton. Guy was awesome, performed a great surgery (great to me is when it works and I am comfortable) and was incredibly detailed throughout the whole process pre-surgery to post. Highly recommended!
I’m so happy I found him excellent doctor very nice staff my sinuses were gone after 2 days taking the medicine he prescribed I was dealing with sinuses for 3 months straight nothing was helping till I went to him Thankyou
Dr. Skelton went above and beyond with the diagnosis of my hearing loss. Great doctor that truly cares.
Better than my 2 different experiences at UCSD! You want a Dr who looks at your entire health to connect it to any ENT concerns you experience!? Dr Skelton IS he & the most gentle & thorough ENT type Dr I have experienced! He does not rush appointments either, even going into a holiday weekend, to not cheat the patient out of a quality appointment. He is meticulous in his diagnosis and exhausts all, and I mean ALL, avenues before considering surgery. I, also, loved the professionalism of his male nurse or assistant! His empathy & true care as to what I am experiencing in my health journey is beyond anything I have experienced! No wonder my phenomenal PCP ( who is the same way) referred me to him!
Dr Patrick McCallion and his staff did an amazing job treating my Sinusitis. From pre-op appointments, to post-op follow ups, they went above and beyond. Thank you Dr McCallion!
I highly recommend Dr. Patrick Mccallion with your ENT concerns. After getting off the ventilator for 3 1/2 days last November 1, 2020 due to a heart attack it inflamed my throat and created a lot of bloody phlegm and I was breathing out of what seemed to be a straw through my throat. Even though my vitals were good I could hardly breathe and I was up for days coughing up Phlegm with a tinge of blood. I was even choking on my phlegm! After seeing Dr. Mccallion in his office and with multiple throat scope procedures, he informed me that my vocal cords were paralyzed temporarily due to the ventilator and overtime they would improve. And they did. he prescribed the proper medication for a week which in turn reduce the added swelling which is caused from was ventilator. He even ordered a CAT scan which after 2 1/2 months of being intubated and with inflammation of my throat everything is just about back to normal thanks to Dr. Mccallion proactive, caring approach. I highly recommend Dr. McCallion for any of EMT issues! And I'm extremely appreciative for all he has done for me on a proactive level. .
Dr. McCallion gave me honest expectations about how long and painful recovery would be from my tonsillectomy but I finally bit the bullet and had them taken out with him only this past Monday. By day 4 I was already feeling so much better and it's only day 5 and I'm going to be switching to Tylenol for the pain soon. I was told by countless people that it would be 7 or 8 days before I felt even slightly better but I think Dr. McCallion's surgical expertise and perfect cautery of the wounds has made my recovery and pain totally manageable. I heard so many rough stories and was extremely nervous for this surgery but it went amazingly smoothly and healing is going so great! I am so so thankful! What a great experience and I couldn't be happier as I've had problems with my tonsils for most of my life. So excited to be tonsil free!
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
