Dr. Youram Nassir is hands down the absolute best doctor, and probably human, you’ll ever meet. He goes so far above and beyond for his patients on a regular basis that it’s honestly shocking. He’s the kind of doctor that will personally get other doctors on their cell phone, even when the other doctor is on a plane, vacation or in a meeting, to ensure that you get to the correct specialist when a referral is needed. There are so many personal stories I could share about how incredibly proactive, compassionate, competent and dedicated he is - and that is just me. I know from talking to other patients in his waiting room that he is a blessing to all of us. Put simply, there is absolutely no one that I would recommend higher than Dr. Nassir. And I have unfortunately seen more specialists than anyone should have to from Cedars in LA to the Cleveland Clinic in Ohio. He is the best. And it’s not even close. But because he is a warrior for his patients, and he will make time to see you when you need him and give you all his attention when he does, be prepared for a very long wait in his lobby. But he is definitely worth the wait.

I had an excellent experience with Dr. Youram Nassir. He was incredibly attentive, taking the time to listen carefully and address all my concerns. What stood out most was his willingness to go above and beyond—even picking up the phone to make appointments for me. He didn’t just treat me, he made sure I understood the bigger picture. Dr. Nassir is clearly respected, knowledgeable, experienced, and he communicates with clarity and honesty. He’s a straight shooter, which I truly appreciate in a healthcare provider. If there’s one doctor who truly cares about his patients, it’s Dr. Nassir. He introduced us to Sunset Hospice, and it was a life-changing experience for both my mother and our entire family. I was nervous at first after hearing so many negative stories about hospice care, but this was the complete opposite. The Sunset team became part of our family and stood by us until my mother’s final breath. I will forever be grateful to Dr. Nassir for his compassionate care, guidance, and for introducing us to such a wonderful agency.

I saw Dr. Youram Nassir because of his impressive background and to get another perspective on my treatment for lung cancer. I was and currently still am being treated at the Veterans Administration. During my visit to his office, Dr Nassir first went over my medical records from the VA then called me into his office to go over everything with him. It was a complete and exhaustive interview in that he obviously didn't wish to overlook anything in the record of my treatment and yet nothing was rushed or hurried. It was a calm and cordial atmosphere. The VA's plan for my treatment was limited to A PET scan a month from then. Any subsequent treatment by the VA would be decided based on those results. Dr. Nassir recommended not only that the PET scan be farther-ranging in scope but that five (5) additional pulmonary evaluations and two (2) coronary evaluations be undergone and that the testing be done urgently. These recommendations were put into a letter which he gave me telling me to forward it to the VA. Which I did and which generated a somewhat greater sense of urgency there. I greatly appreciate the care and attention I received from Dr. Nassir. I'm very happy to have met him.

I cannot even begin to describe how incredible Dr. Nassir is. He is so caring, detailed and thorough. He will do everything possible to give you the best possible care.
