This kind of therapy is specifically for trauma, and who hasn’t had at least one traumatic event in his/her life? With Somatic therapy I have seen a much faster results than with any other therapy. The beauty of it is that you focus on healing yourself now! You don’t dwell on your trauma; you just release the emotions attached to it. In only a few sessions I was out of my “zombie” moments and was able to shake off my emotional numbness. I feel great now, and I enjoy my ability to feel present. It’s very important to choose the right therapist. It will save you time and money in the long run. After searching and trying a few somatic therapists, I was lucky enough to meet Sergio.
