Dr Khuu is always professional n the office is very clean. Personnel is very friendly n efficient, I had to change my appointments several times n they were very accommodating to my changes, went back n forth several times to get me in.

STAY AWAY- Here is my story, I hope it can save someone. I would give this place zero stars if I could. I've taken my mom to this office 6 times and we were only seen twice. The other 4 times, we've shown up just to be told that they are awaiting insurance approval or we can pay out of pocket. My mom doesn't drive or speak English so I have to arrange time off of work to take her. Needless to say, they have no regard for other people's time. And at this point, I think they are banking on patients just paying out of pocket since they're already there. It doesn't make any sense that they'd confirm insurance clearance already over the phone just to let patients know they're not covered upon arrival. The first time we saw Dr. Khuu was on our 3rd office visit try. He was cordial and spent about 15mins examining the rash on my mother's nose and prescribed a cream. The cream didn't work and our family doctor referred us back to this office again for an exam for skin cancer. It took us 3-4 months to get insurance clearance, and also 3 unsuccessful visits to the office just to be turned back and say insurance hasn't cleared yet IN PERSON, we finally saw a female doctor. She popped her head into the exam room, and I kid you not, she took a 30 second look from 4 ft away and left. We were so confused, was she the doctor, was she a nurse, some rando worker from the office who went into the wrong room? Nothing more happened and the front desk offered some laser treatments that were of course cosmetic and not covered by insurance. We waited for over an hour in the lobby for this non sense. It is unbelievable and we really gave this place so many chances, these people are scammers.

Best doctor in town! Save my husband life! For real! Any other clinics didn’t even try to help:( Dr. Khuu is an excellent specialist and really kind person! Thank you so much!

Great experience at this location with Dr. Khuu I'm currently undergoing some chemical peels and acne regimen treatments with Dr. Khuu. My 2nd visit (1st visit to this location) and it was a great experience! 100% recommend visiting the Mountain View location for: - super friendly and helpful staff - bigger location - parking isn't terrible Shoutout to Dr. Khuu's medical assistant. He was so welcoming, informative, and overall made the experience so so much better than the 1st visit. I'm so excited for this journey! I'll be back to give an update.

I went back today for a mole removal on my eyebrow. I met a new medical assistant, Kianna, who was very nice and professional. She was very clear about what the whole procedure entailed. Exceptional young lady. I met a new doctor, Dr. Alan, who explained the risks involved and also explained the nature of the healing process with clear instructions on how to care for the area after the removal. He was very knowledgeable and patient with me. I had lots of questions. Thanks again for running a great dermatology practice.

PICK UP YOUR PHONES! I only give an extra star because my wife goes here and says great things about this dermatology office. But the experience in trying to pay the bill is beyond frustrating. I have played phone tag for over a week to get a hold of someone trying three separate times throughout. No one picks up. I leave a voicemail requesting callback. Try again. Someone eventually picks up. Their card reader isn’t working and they will call me back in a couple days. That came and went. It’s 2024 people. These payments should be easily taken care of online. If the office is so poorly staffed, reduce their workload and allow online bill pay so that way I can get on with the rest of my day. There is no way I am going to mail credit card numbers to pay a bill. Absolutely not. Get with the times.

It started and ended with the front desk attendant who made the appointment. Made an appointment for the following week, couldn't verify the insurance provided and started to threaten me saying that we couldn't pay out of pocket, could not bill insurance outside of the network. Didn't get to see the doctor so cannot comment on the care but person who makes the appointments needs to be customer oriented and not threaten potential new patients.

I visited doctor Khuu for concerns about acne. He never explained to me that I would have my pimples popped using a metal acne extraction tool. This was done by forcibly pushing down on each pimple until blood came out. This was a terrible procedure that left me with pain in the face and permanent facial scars. He never explained the details of any procedures. I was then scheduled to have steroid injections which was never talked about. The only reason I found out about the appointment was because they sent a letter to me. I decided that this dermatologist was extremely untrustworthy and did not show up for the second appointment.

lol all the bad reviews on here r 100% true, worst practice does not follow hipaa or osha guidelines, hired family whose not educated or even certified or qualified to work in industry for skin so beware who touches ur skin and as far as ur insurance goes lol good luck dealing wit that, money hungry nails it, it all goes to his own skin care too

Amazing experience, called last minute for an appointment Nathan was gracious and was able to help me find one. Everyone I dealt with during the appointment was kind and efficient, kept me updated as the clinic was fairly busy. Follow up has been excellent, received an call on Sat with update on some tests and prescription was sent promptly. Can't say enough good things about my overall experience.
