Horrible "doctor." I went into labor and got tested for Covid. Unbeknownst to me I tested positive even though I didn't show any symptoms (I was in quarantine most of my pregnancy aside from the monthly OB visits) - thank god I didn't experience anything. So I didn't get to choose my pediatrician and had this lady the day I gave birth. She came and checked in my baby for like 10 seconds. She refused to see him for a follow up. I brought him home and tried calling her again, she really made me feel hopeless. I cried for my baby because as a first time mom I didn't know what I could have done. I felt like she really didn't want to help me (I mean she didn't). I get it, I tested positive, but you're a doctor, he's a newborn that needs to be looked at. Even the nurses were surprised this lady didn't want to see him. I then decided to call my insurance to look for another pediatrician. Thank god for Children's primary care medical group of Menifee and the doctor there for seeing him ON THE DAY I called their office. They went the extra mile to have me come in right before they're closed so no other patient was there and had me in a secluded room. Now that's what a true caring doctor would do.. not just dismiss me like this lady did..He had minor jaundice, I didn't know what I would have done if I waited for this lady. Worst experience. I advise you all to bring your babies to someone who actually would take care of your baby no matter what (since that's what you do as a doctor, right? How do you refuse a sick baby??)..

Both doctors are amazing but they need to change the front desk receptionist she’s very rude maybe she can take some social classes to better herself or just hire a better person.

Theyre so jammed pack. They said a wait of 1520 min then they said that theres 3 patients ahead of me. So definitely a lie your talking about 1520 min each patient so thats about an HR plus I been here waiting so far 30 min and she keeps saying no it hasnt been 1520 yet. I was told good stuff about the clinic but lately theyre slacking in everything. My son is a disabled baby and I cant even get refills for his breathing treatment and they have healthy kids mixed with sick kids.

I love Dr. Pillai! I have been bringing my son to her for years. She always listens to concerns, explains everything and makes everyone feel comfortable! I am so thankful that she is able to be reached after hours on her cell phone. One time, I called at 11pm because my son was in extreme pain from an ear infection (he used to get them often). She was on vacation with her family and not only did she still take my call, she called in a prescription for me right away and I had it within FIFTEEN minutes!! So thankful to have a pediatric that cares!

I normally dont like to write reviews. But I feel like I need to. First I waited 1 hour and 40 min for my daughter to be seen. Once inside it only took less than 10 min for the doctor to check her. I mean this was a physical check i felt she was rushing. Definitely changing to another Doctor. Shes not caring of her patients.

We saw Dr. Pillai for 0 month, 1 month, 3 months, 6 months, and 10 months checkups for our baby boy and we had enough of waiting and unprofessionalism. We were always the very first patient at 9 in the morning, no other urgent patients or patients to be seen in the waiting lobby, but we still had to wait over an hour to see her for 3 freakin' minutes!! No apologies nor explanationswhy she was late. And everything is just "ok"! and her fast, thick accent aren't helping at all either. I want to know what percentile he falls under, things to look for, what to expect, etc., as a parentbut NOTHING! Just a crappy photocopied handoutand billing our insurance company for the crappy patient care! I so wanted to file a complaint to the Board for overbooking & unprofessionalism but I don't have time for the nonsense. Don't even bother to try this doctor people! Avoid at all cost and save your precious time!

I highly recommend this doctor she's very friendly fast and very Thorough. I've had to change my daughters doctor because other doctors seem like there on autopilot and don't care and I end up waiting two to three hours when I have a appointment it's crazy this place is great very friendly staff and easy to make appointment and in an out with in a hour it's great.

Moving to a new city and finding a doctor is always hard. A friend recommended Doctor Pillai. So far I've had no issues, the staff is friendly.

FTM here!Dr Pillai is great and has answered all questions about my son in a prompt manner I love her she's so friendly and warm however, her front desk could be a lot friendlier and I just mean one particular person which is the girl with all of the tattoos on her arm. That's the only way I can identify her. I was waiting to schedule my next appointment and actually left without making the next appointment because I couldn't stand the girls attitude. Just awful. Dr Pillai is amazing!
