OUTSTANDING! From my first call to schedule an appointment her team is amazing. Very helpful and kind. Dr. Grewal is so knowledgeable and caring. She always takes her time to explain everything and I'm so lucky to have found such an AMAZING DR. Thank you all for all you do. Carol W.
Dr. Grewal has no compassion for patients as human beings. I am stuck in another state taking care of a dire family emergency & she would not send in prescriptions to a local pharmacy to get me through until I could return in 3 weeks. After badgering them, finally they agreed to fill 2 out of the 3 prescriptions (Im a diabetic & dependent on these medications) for 2 weeks even though I wont be back for 3 weeks. And they asked me to find another endocrinologist to see. What kind of doctor cant be understanding of extenuating circumstances & fires a patient in the middle of a stressful time???

Before arriving for my bone density injection, I was assured by Bianca that I would pay nothing outofpocket. However, when I arrived for my appointment, Brenda told me that I would have to purchase the injection at a retail pharmacy, at an outofpocket cost of $500. Had I known this, I would not have scheduled an appointment. But what was most shocking was not the misleading comments the office staff; it was Brendas insulting me in front of other patients, and a pharmacy rep. The good news is that I quickly connected with a superb endocrinologist, and her lovely office staff, who followed through on their assurances that I would not incur any outofpocket cost. Like it or not, an office staff is an extension of the physician. If a receptionist is misleading or obnoxious, the hiring physician should be aware of this. So too should current and prospective patients, as they trust the receptionist to accurately inform them about their insurance coverage.Marci N.
I find Dr Grewal to be an excellent doctor! She is thorough, takes the time to listen, explains everything in a way you can understand and does not rush through the appt like a lot of doctors tend to do. I found her to be very on top of things and was so prepared both times I met with her which was really assuring. Shes very knowledgeable, personable and kind and I cant recommend her highly enough!
Dr Grewall is wonderful! I have Osteoporosis and she’s taken great care of me. She’s also caring, efficient, and on time!
Over months has moved my A1C from vastly excessive to a polite A1C of 6.0 OUTSTANDING
I don't go to a doc to make friends, I go to a doc to receive top notch medical care. I was referred to her after my insurance went to an HMO and I love her. She's smart, she's on top of things, she's on the ball, she orders tests without my having to ask and she finally figured out what was going on with me after going to another endocrinologist for years who never offered me a diagnosis other than "you are a very interesting patient". I've also never found either Dr. Grewal or her staff to ever have been rude to me.

People need to realize that with the way HMO's operate today you will get 15 minutes with the doc so come prepared with all of your questions and throw all your meds in a bag and bring them in so that she can actually SEE what you are taking. A doctor/patient relationship is a 2 way street these days and patient a must be proactive. I don't understand her negative reviews, she's a great endocrinologist & I trust her but she would probably also say that I'm a great patient since I listen to her, I get my tests done in a timely manner, I take my meds as directed, and I never miss an appointment. Like I said, it's a two way street. Also when she changes my meds I have her write it down for me so there is no confusion later.

She's a great doc, I rate her five stars.
Was looking for an Internist and called her office to confirm that she was in network with our Aetna PPO plan as we had already met our in network deductible and out of pocket maximum for the year. They said she was in our network, so we scheduled an appointment. Shortly after, we received our explanation of benefits from Aetna and it was billed out of network. I called her office and they confirmed she is in network. So I called Aetna to have them reprocess the claim as in network. Aetna said that she did not participate with them and it was processed correctly as out of network.
Since we have a separate out of network deductible, the full price of the visit was applied to our out of network deductible. I explained what happened to her outside billing company after receiving a bill in the mail. She said that she would speak with the Doctor regarding this issue. Nothing. After a couple months, I receive a bill (with interest) from a collection agency. I don't feel that we should pay anything as we specifically asked if she was in our network before scheduling an appointment with her office. I have left a message with her office for her to contact me to discuss this matter, but the office just referred us to her outside biller. I would not recommend this office if they cannot be honest or even discuss this with their own patients.
Dr. Grewal is an appointment Nazi. I missed two appointments. She discharged me. I admit that I am human, but I was going through breast cancer and needed her help with my thyroid disease. What an awful, entitled person, let alone physician. Shame.

Clueless about hormones such as T3, Reverse T3 (rT3), Free T3, T4 etc. Just about the ones that should be her specialty. Excuse my sarcasm here but I've been struggling with pain over 10 years due to doctors like Grewal, Sonia. Plenty out there. Besides that she is heartless, uncaring and detached. Does not listen. If you are a woman over 40 s and going through the "changes" find a hormone specialist. Do not waste your time at Dr. Grewal's office. My best recommendation is Dr. Gregory Wolf. He knows what he is doing.
Best Dr. and staff EVER ! I was referred to Dr. Grewal by my primary doctor and Im so lucky and could not be happier. All of Dr. Grewal team members are so kind and understanding. I have been a patient for years and have always found Dr. Grewal to be both knowledgeable and personable. I went online to confirm the office address and was SHOCKED to see such bad reviews. Non are indicative of my experience over the last 8+ years as her patient. She is lovely.
I was referred to Dr Grewal by my PCP. Drove from Tustin all the way down to Newport Beach. This individual is suffering from incredible ineptitude.Id been working with a fabulous endocrinologist who had a family crisis and suspended services, so I asked for a new referral since I needed to renew my prescription for thyroid meds. I had also worked with a Functional Medical Group, and they discovered that my meds were too high, then too low, and recommended that I use them on alternate days. Even the pharmacist I spoke to said this was common.I told Dr Grewal that Im a celiac and also lactose intolerant, and she responded that Synthroid contains neither but shed renew my meds for now.She also argued that the Levothyroxine I was taking had the same issues, and I told her that my previous endo had had her office research different companies and had found the right formula for me.Dr Grewal had NEVER heard of this and that I should be on Synthriod.Well, Synthroid DOES contain lactose.Dr Grewal is ignorant and inept. Had I been fool enough to listen to her I would have suffered negative consequences to my health and wellbeing.I DO NOT RECOMMEND YOU PUT YOUR HEALTH AND LIFE IN THE HANDS OF THIS INCOMPETENT AND INEPT EXCUSE FOR A DOCTOR.
This is one of the worst doctors there is! I was misdiagnosed, under medicated, she didn't try armour medicine made from pig. I was having
night and day sweats, sore throat, ear pain, heart palpitation's. She didn't explain anything, I finally went to an amazing doctor Ahn, he was in charge
Of the endocrine at UCLA. This Grewal said I had Hasimotos, when I didn't have any symptoms of it, but Inhad every symptom of graves. I was tested for it 20 years ago via nuclear medicine through Hoag. I just had blood work
done (which she never did) and I tested negative for Hosimotos. I was in misery for 3 years! Thank god for dr. Ahn! He was a blessing.
