I don't go to a doc to make friends, I go to a doc to receive top notch medical care. I was referred to her after my insurance went to an HMO and I love her. She's smart, she's on top of things, she's on the ball, she orders tests without my having to ask and she finally figured out what was going on with me after going to another endocrinologist for years who never offered me a diagnosis other than "you are a very interesting patient". I've also never found either Dr. Grewal or her staff to ever have been rude to me.
People need to realize that with the way HMO's operate today you will get 15 minutes with the doc so come prepared with all of your questions and throw all your meds in a bag and bring them in so that she can actually SEE what you are taking. A doctor/patient relationship is a 2 way street these days and patient a must be proactive. I don't understand her negative reviews, she's a great endocrinologist & I trust her but she would probably also say that I'm a great patient since I listen to her, I get my tests done in a timely manner, I take my meds as directed, and I never miss an appointment. Like I said, it's a two way street. Also when she changes my meds I have her write it down for me so there is no confusion later.
She's a great doc, I rate her five stars.
