Doctors do not stick to appt times.

I am a patient of Dr.Vaisman in this office for a years and I met all the doctors in the office (when my doctor wasn’t available I made an appointment with them) and all of them were helped with my health problems on time , always getting my results and referrals on time if it is emergency they will send electronically.

They are horrible do not go here. They will not help every time i was sick they would not give me medicine. They don't even care about there patients. I mean they are doctors if they dont like the job then quit

This medical group (which is also known as Regal) is terrible! In November of 2017, I took my daughter to the nearest urgent care facility in their network and was told by the office staff that she was "not in the system." A call to our insurance company (LA Care) confirmed everything was fine on our end. The representative offered to contact Lakeside Medical Group on our behalf, so we were put on hold while they wrestled with the problem. It took two hours to get someone to actually answer the phone. (We were told that numerous calls went through but the person at the other end would hang up!) For some reason, Lakeside had not processed my daughter's membership...and it would take another 24 hours for it to become effective. Thankfully, LA Care offered to fax proof of our insurance to the urgent care facility so we could proceed immediately. My daughter was diagnosed with extremely high blood sugar, her major organs were in danger of shutting down, and she was wheeled next door to a hospital ER. The doctors there said she would need to stay overnight so they could better assess the situation and determine what was needed to stabilize her condition. But when they found out we had Lakeside, we were told our insurance would not cover the overnight stay. The ER folks said it was the only medical group they dealt with that had such restrictions. We were sent home with insulin and instructions to see her PCP ASAP. So we saw the doctor and she submitted an urgent request for my daughter to see an endocrinologist. Eight days later, we switched medical groups...still waiting for the referral that never came. In conversations with the doctors, nurses, and office staff at both the urgent care facility and ER, they all said Lakeside was the worst. A lesson learned.

They use to be really good but lately it's been getting really bad! Not only do they have a constant turnover of doctors, mix up on appointments, but now they're not taking certain insurances! Even though you've been a patient of theirs for years! Yeah, now they care more about your insurance than their patients!

Dr. Oganes Akopyan has seen me and one of my daughters recently. I was impressed with him and his staff. They followed up quickly about the lab results, etc., called my pharmacy for meds, and got me my referrals promptly. Well done.

This is one of the most incompetent medical organizations I havecome across. If you have an alternative choice to go elsewhere...don't walk RUN as fast as you can to another medical group. Youwill find this one most disappointing on ever level.

Dr Kandel is excellent!!! She did an exceptional job on my wife's rather difficult surgery. Ignore the one star ratings. If you read them carefully, they are not indicative of her quality as a physician, but rather irrelevant personal issues revolving around entitlement. One went even as far as to say the Dr got 5 stars, but that the staff got 0. She could have given her 4 stars, but she had to put the hurt on someone. These comments are retaliatory and spiteful and without merit. Not cool. So, just read each of the low star ratings to see for yourself. And no, I am not a personal friend of Dr Kandel's, nor is my wife. Nor is she a long time patient. Never met her, I just saw the work she did and I have my wife's testimony as well as a doctor who said she did a really good job.
