I went here in November while experiencing a mental health crisis due to unregulated Bipolar Disorder.Despite the websites mentioning they work with crisis intervention, they sat me in the front for about 5 minutes before telling myself and my boyfriend that they won't help. Tried giving us the directions to an inpatient in Riverside instead. The whole point of going there was to avoid inpatient services altogether.
As a security guard I did my job a found a phone in the bathroom and kame to put in the desk till someone kame and asked for it and at the end of my shift Yvette decided to kome tell me that they feel like I stole the phone because I didn’t give it to her or another female I didn’t know but the phone was returned nd not a thank u in site but IR WELKOME, not a good place to work.
For overnight stayers you will get fed very light for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Less than jail meals. They will give you a number for the next door restaurants wifi that will be wrong.
Very helpful staff and kind peers and marquis is the best
They let me into the facility immediately upon arrival. The main room is pretty typical of a mental health urgent care facility. Lazy boy recliners, Netflix on TV, a business center, and a peer support station. This place is different than all the others I have been to, in one way in particular: the service. The peer supports are empathetic and you can tell they love their job. Diana identified with me and shared her story, making time go by much faster, which was much appreciated. She participated in the group therapy with us and really livened up the room.Marcus is an honest-to-god angel. He has the kindest heart and has a gift of getting clients to open up and share their stressors. He's exceptional with fostering emotional awareness using a cross between psychoeducational worksheets and good old fashioned empathy. He can make complex problems so easy to understand. The way they run things is like a dream compared to my past experiences. Want an extra blanket? Heck yes, they will bring it to you immediately. You dont even have to get up. Hungry but dont want basic snacks and it isn't meal time? Your peer support will make you a hot meal. No joke. Miss the hourly cigarette break? It's okay, let the peer support know youd like a smoke and they will allow you to go on a smoke break. Unprecedented excellent service. The coworkers and patients were all cracking jokes and socializing, and the atmosphere was enjoyable for most of the time. Nurse's station was frigid cold, but that's not a big deal breaker for me at all.Overall i felt quite comfortable and hopeful while in this urgent care. I felt respected and taken seriously by the nurse and therapist and psychiatrist. I felt supported and lifted up by the peer support.I hope these guys get the recognition they deserve. I see bad reviews but Marcus said they stemmed from not being able to accommodate their needs. Am example would be not being able to dose out suboxone because if is a controlled substance. Or having to wait until morning to see a doctor because the facility was busy. Things like that. Dont let those reviews. This place is exceptionally efficient and thorough with truly caring for their patients' needs.Marcus and Diana, I wish you luck and joy in your personal lives. Dont forget to gratitude journal....~Victoria
The most friendly and helpful understating place . Staff is nice and helpful, caring.
I work in behavioral health and I was here today. I think the staff here was really sweet, caring, and patient. They were focused and clearly well trained, professional. The past reviews are way too critical, but that's the nature of the beast.
The staff was friendly but not overly nice/fake. I was told before getting there they were backed up and the process takes a few hours. I appreciated how they were upfront and honest. I was evaluated and left with the proper refill script within two hours. This may seem like a long wait period to some, but I’d rather wait two hours than MONTHS without meds for an outside psychiatrist to be available.
This young women's on meds per doctor and is going around threatening people's life's because of her condition this concerns me for safety of others,
Morning staff was super helpful. Bobby the social worker was very kind, understanding, and knowledgeable. The nurse Edward was very kind. Even the guard whom received us was very polite. I'm super happy with the services redured at this facility. So glad I brought my son in there.
Arrived at 10:15 waited for my Grandson to be seen by the nurse, Social Worker, Doctor finally seen him at 2 or 3 , longest wait ever! Time is not manage there! My concern was my grandson getting help! Please people that go there are in need of help, it’s not a social gathering especially with the corona virus!
I love the place that help me out alot
The staff was helpful, kind, and understanding
If you're looking to be met with kindness and compassion keep going
I brought my husband to this facility a year ago, when he attempted to commit suicide and when I asked the police for help instead they arrested him for bogus charge of DV(not at all true). I took him here right after he got out and they treated him so well and this started his journey in seeking out personal health help. Now he is continuing on with mental health therapy and it was all because of this place showing him kindness and compassion. My husband has been to a few places including the VA for mental health help and they have turned him off from the help. But this place changed our lives in the mental health journey for him. Thank you
5 stars all the way up for this spot in Perris, CA by the Del Taco. Now just have to get my Ex, Mom and Brother to check in lol. This place made me feel comfortable right away and they know my concerns so let the good lord check yourself in people. Mental Health Urgent Care saved my life this month October 2020. My cancer awareness ribbon is now half orchid (purp) and bright green. I have already become a life coach it started at Little Ceasars off Rancho rd. Much special love for Marcus, he calmed me down right away. Trust the process. Kristin helped me get over some stuff that has been bugging me for 5 years or more thanks fam. 5 stars all the way fam!!! 🙏🎗🎀♋🎗🙏
The staff is questionable.Nurse on duty decided patient pressure to high so instead of calling an ambulance they asked for the patient to be picked up.Really? Of course Its been reported. URGENT CARE is not what the name of this establishment should be.....Whatever Care may fit..whatever CARE they feel like giving is what you will get..Sad but in the Health care system now it's all about MONEY..HUMANS JUST GET IN THE WAY....DISGUSTED...Speak OUT dont sit and take it.Report it...like I did....
First off don’t expect to be helped under a 14-16 hr wait( literally). Today after riding three separate buses after being referred from another mental health office, I was told that I’d have to spend the night in order to get a prescription refill; there’s literally 3-4 people in the back waiting to be seen , and the main clerk sits and talks on her phone with personal friends and relatives and reiterates to them that “she’s busy”. This is the SECOND time that I’ve come and been treated second class. They try and make sure to NOT help people coming to them in need of help by finding different ways that either work against any of the specific needs of a patient. After being told I’d have to spend the night, they said I had 10 MINUTES If needed to leave....what if I needed to eat dinner? And there’s also no doctors; you’ll end up looking at a screen talking to a doctor.
Idk why people think people think the staff are rude here they are super helpful and nice especially when you’re being respectful towards them. They are here to help you and they have helped me tremendously. Plus it’s free!!! Like cmon now
Poorly managed sat and waited from 1 to 6pm to have them tell us the LVN will be leaving for the day and they have no one else for our child to talk. Only to find out that they seen a guy that came in after us. If they think people don't know their place in line they are sadly mistaken. The LVN here should be ashamed of herself, she made a mistake and have no intention of fixing it. She lacks understanding, and compassion and should not being this line of work. They have saying on the wall "People start to heal the moment they are heard" my thoughts are what happens when your office isn't trying to hear them.
