More Physical Therapy's Online Review Report Card

If I could zero I would. Went for my first appointment and the PT said he would email me the exercises because their printer was down. I called 3 times to ask for them and NEVER received them. I cancelled the rest of my appointments. Terrible customer service and care.

I have written many positive reviews and this is my first negative one. Despite having plenty of bad experiences , I always sympathize with the owners and don't write it. My experience with MORE was so egregious and caused me actual physical harm that I have to share to protect other patients. DO NOT GO HERE they may have once been good but the office is a total mess and they blur the lines between who is an actual PT and not. I found out they has a totally unsupervised student working on me unsupervised. I asked the front desk if he was a real PT and they lied and said yes. When I pushed they said he graduated, and only after pushing again they admitted he just a student. They claim that training the student counts as overseeing him, but the person in charge of over seeing him never saw me, including at evaluations. This student assigned me new exercises that my other doctor believes prompted another flare up. When I confronted the manager he told me a son story about a lot of recent firings and this massive shortage for PTs It took my insurance one day to find Quinn PT which is almost across the street, way nicer facilities and actually fully staffed with real therapists It was so bad that my insurance is looking to their practice of billing PT appointments provided by student without informed consent of patient. They said they had like 2 real traveling PT and 1 PT assistant who I did like, snd there were way more people th. 3 being treated there every time Just find yourself a place thats fully staffed and fully functional- its your body, you cant afford to mess around

I started bringing my mother to this facility about a year ago to receive physical therapy after her hip replacement. Half a year later, I started to bring my mother in law here as well as she started having some issues with her left leg. It was here that I met Gary who provided a variety of exercises, massages, and techniques for both of them. He was also able to speak Mandarin, which was incredibly helpful since both my mother and mother in law spoke primarily Mandarin. We saw improvements in both my mother and mother in law, as they were both able to walk again without much pain. Both of them enjoyed it so much that they always looked forward to going for their weekly appointments with Gary! Gary, good work and service Ron, the owner of MORE , who has been running this facility for almost 40 years was also very helpful professionally for both of my moms. Additionally with that, I noticed that this boss has a warm and a great heart in providing an abundance of time, equipment, and space for his customers. I'm very grateful for both of them and the work and time they spent with us! I strongly recommend this facility to anyone looking for a physical therapy location.

I cannot tell you what amazing quality of care I have gotten at More Physical Therapy. I would give it 5/5 stars or 10/10 rating and I rarely do that. I am devastated because my insurance ANTHEM (PPO)won't pay them their standard rate and as of this week my services have to end. I cannot afford the weekly cash pay rate. However, I am trying to figure out how to go back to them because they are that good. I have been going to see them and have seen multiple therapists since January. Gary is probably one of the most skilled in his entire profession. His manual techniques go right to the source to cure your pain. Dillon has taught me certain movements that I will use for the rest of my life. They actually are building muscles structure in my body to prevent the type of pain I was having. From the front office staff to all the physical therapist to all the assistants, everyone is so friendly ,welcoming and warm and they always have upbeat music playing in the background. I hope I can come back soon. Reese is also very good!

This is Yuna Hu, and I'd like this message to reach Christy Castle. I'd like to submit a complaint of how I have been used as a pawn for Christy's internal company politics without my knowledge or consent. My therapist Gary Kang informed me that two weeks ago, he received an email from Christy, the VP of Finance, that one of his patients was chatting with another of his patients, as if to get him in trouble. In their following communications, Christy specified my initials, YH. How dare you! I'm not involved in what goes on behind the scenes as I am just a patient, but Christy dragged me into it and used me in an attempt to attack my therapist, whom I truly appreciate and respect for all the hard work he's done for me in helping me feel better. I feel used, violated, offended, and betrayed by the business that I gave my information to and patronized. I am disappointed that MORE Physical Therapy is a business where people in the back office can stoop so low as to drag innocent patients into their internal conflicts. I'm glad Gary let me know that my initials were used, because when I asked if this ever happened before, he informed me that yes, in fact, Christy has used me in a similar unethical fashion multiple times to criticize him! Previously, in January I posted a 5-Star Review at the MORE - Silver Creek Clinic, stating how I genuinely feel about my experiences with Gary. The next day, Gary received an email from Christy berating him for soliciting reviews from patients! Is your first impression when an employee receives praise, that it is undeserved and patients don't know what they're talking about? To think you should harass an employee who earned such detailed commendation! That is so rude! I spent a good amount of time putting down my thoughts so that other people could see how good of a therapist he is. I told him, and I tell you now, my words came from the bottom of my heart. Instead of appreciating my review, you interpret it as low-value, dishonest and want to hurt my therapist. Who does that? Wouldn't you want the public to know how good their team is? The crux of my complaint is this: I am furious, outraged that someone has used me to go against Gary. If someone from the back office has a problem with me, shouldn't they reach out to me directly? Instead of blaming my therapist? This is not the way to solve problems, by taking the most roundabout communication and disgracing yourself, and by extension, the company you work for, with this ridiculous hostility! Shame on you! As long as this continues, I will never come back as a patient. And when I finish my DPT program, I will never consider nor recommend my colleagues to work here. However. If you want reconciliation, here is what I need from you: I need Christy to write me an apology for involving me, a patient, nonconsensually, in her political schemes. I also need her to write an apology to Gary for using his patient to criticize him. You have my consent to contact me through my email: [redacted]. If I do not get a written apology from Christy by August 9, 2024 at 11:59 pm, or if I feel the email does not demonstrate her truly atoning for her actions, then I will repost this complaint onto your page as a 1-Star Review, because you haven't demonstrated you appreciate 5-Star Reviews. Or your employees. Or your clients. If the above requirement is not met, I would also require a full refund of my out-of-pocket visits at MORE.

Physical therapy requires two people to get better, the physical therapist and you. I worked with Gary for a while now, and he knows how to treat your injuries not at the local level, but as a whole body. Does your foot hurt? He can find where it is stemming from and treat it accordingly. Gary's personality will motivate you and his knowledge is impeccable. Ron is great at managing this business and has great skills for TMJ patients as well as a long work history. As a veteran who has been dismissed by many doctors, it is finally great to be heard and treated.

Ron Kaminski &Anna Lawrence &Disha are amazine.They are so good at there therapy it's unbelievable its so helping me.I had extream spine surgery in June I'm 79 and Ron the orner said when we are through with u you will fill 39 not 79 its working.Thanks Ron you should be cloned.And Disha a mini Ron love them all there.Anna your amazine as well.Everyone is so friendly makes u feel like family there.

YOU'VE NEVER HAD THIS QUALITY of PT! Alameda Office Anna(PT) and Gary(PTA) are a dynamic duo! Anna has the forensic ability to see and feel into your injury to a degree that is unmatched. The plan she creates is fine tuned and sharp as a Saber Sword! Beyond happy with her diagnostics and healing skills. Gary is the Yin to Anna'a Yang! He uses unorthodox and very special methods to treat. Everything from soft hammering(with an actual hammer), leveraged motions(yogic/Taichi inspired) to increase flexibility, and creative massage techniques to improve healing blood flow. If you're lucky enough to get time with these 2, be ready for uplifting, safe, and progressive sessions. You're welcome!

Avoid this place. The place is super busy and the therapist spends 30mins (you’re paying for full hr) with you and then you’re passed on to their assistant/new hires and some times you have to wait to get a bed. They're not honest and upfront when it comes to billing. I called their billing department a few times to find the exact amount I would be responsible for and the billing representative kept telling me once you hit your deductible this is the amount you will be paying and we have submitted it to your insurance so don’t worry about you don’t have to pay right now. Once I hit my deductible I called back to find out the final amount and the billing representative was rude and kept repeating that she had explained and I was responsible for this huge amount now. I’m new to this whole insurance system here and wanted to know the exact amount. I do not recommend this place at all.

I had an injury while playing soccer (Achilles tendon sprain) I came to More physical therapy and the PT Erik made the sessions seamless. Fantastic service! he really took the time to ask what was my objective in the recovery process and explained the exercises thoroughly.
