I've worked with Dr. Anne and Connie Earl here for several years and they are amazing. All of the staff are considerate and responsive. When my kid was a baby and I had several after-hours consultations the doctors on call who responded to me were always kind and knowledgeable.I understand the complaints about the phone system and waiting to get calls back. The administrative systems here are a bit disorganized. To me it just seems like they're understaffed and need more help and organization. But the healthcare is excellent.

I love the health clinic-once you can get in. The low rating is for the communication system. Urgent questions cannot be asked as whomever is not answering phone calls. The message says leave a message. In 11 years I've yet to receive a call back so....if you have urgent questions/need same day appointment-find some other place.

A facility like this has a lot of moving parts. I don't believe I'm exaggerating, when I say that most of the parts are either rusted, broken, or missing. Unless they intended to hire disabled people here (who are mentally ill) it's hard to believe these people passed a credible interview. it's the kind of stupidity that really makes you ask: is this really happening? My friend did not believe me, when she said that she was going to go there, but then when she returned from the visit she said I see what you mean, those people are the stupidest people I have ever seen! And I said "I told you I wasn't making it up!!" It's just unfortunate that this is a small town and there's not a lot of options, even less when you consider insurance. Let me be clear: The kind of inefficiency here, is actually bad for your health. This is not any kind of place you should go to if you need serious or urgent care. And by urgent I mean routine care too-- because it's almost impossible to get an appointment or get through on the phone--you will be hearing all kinds of horrible music and probably be hung up on at some point. And heaven forbid you need an emergency prescription after 5 PM or during the weekend--The kind that a regular private doctor would be able to take care of easily by having the on-call physician call the pharmacy-- but no, not here! This is the kind of place that will either not remember do it in time or at all. Ever. This kind of inefficiency is like cancer, and it has spread throughout the entire facility and each department, and their respective employees. This is the kind of place that operates in such a slow manner, that if you have something that really needs attention, it is absolutely possible that you might be in far worse condition (or even dead) by the time this place acts on it accordingly. It's not a matter of being a "Karen", this is not a restaurant or a hotel, peoples lives are at stake, and if the workers are not up to par, they should be fired and replaced. I can tell you for example that one of the girls was so incompetent, that although her job was to give me an injection, she gave me an infection with it --because she had touched the surface of the counter with the needle prior--which I is both unsanitary and unprofessional, and it caused me to require taking a course of antibiotics as a result, and worse, she accidentally stuck herself with the needle afterwards, prompting the clinic to call me to come back immediately! so that I could be tested for HIV and other such things to make sure she did not contract it due to her incompetence. Normally I have a sense of humor, and I enjoy watching stupid shows like the Three Stooges but I don't expect seeing that kind of thing in real life in a medical facility. I'm giving them 2 stars instead of 1 because The doctors are good. But the system and the set up and all the other employees leave a lot to be desired. Someone needs to come in here and clearly evaluate every single person that works in every capacity weather on the phone or every kind of assistant, and certainly the people that manage their app and technical stuff like zoom. I am not expecting them to be Microsoft but it's not acceptable that my pharmacist was on hold for almost an hour, unable to reach my doctor until she finally just hung up after listening to the terrible music. Please understand this is not some thing they can blame on Covid, I have been going here years prior. And the physician that I used to have was far from competent, thankfully no longer there who was actually a kind person but someone who should not have been practicing medicine. Although I don't have evidence, i'm fairly certain my strongly worded complaint and writing led to his to dismissal. But it was nothing personal, it is not my goal to scream at people about being fired, but the fact of the matter is that the pharmacist technician said that he wrote many of my prescriptions in correctly, and she knew him for many years and told me to tell him that he needs to retire so obviously that kind of incompetence was corroborated by a CVS pharmacy technician who knew him personally, so this is not just my opinion, and there are other terrible reviews about this facility that reflect the same. My only hope is that somehow if enough people complain, changes will be made to improve these kinds of things. I do understand there may be more demand than supply in these tiny towns so far north of San Francisco, but that's all the more reason that someone should come in here and make it run more efficiently. On that note, if you don't mind driving 60 miles I would say go to San Francisco where you will find a much higher level of care. It's ironic when you think about major cities having to deal with much bigger loads and yet are exponentially more efficient. It's just like

I have had problems with this clinic since the very start of my being a patient here (which has been about a year and some now.) From the beginning they have been incredibly disorganized, the nurses/doctors are consistently late to every appointment, and the communication via phone & email is untimely if it happens at all. The staff and nurses that I have met have been kind but that simply does not compensate for the negligence. As a patient I have been passed around as my main primary care provider/specialist left and then so did the nurse who took over. The clinic cannot be relied upon to communicate with insurance companies or pharmacies on their own and often times (if not every time) you will need to call each party multiple times to make sure any progress is being made at all. For example, I had an imaging scan ordered because of an abnormality that got delayed THREE MONTHS because the clinic could not communicate with the imaging facility and the insurance company. Luckily I am ok, but I would not wish anyone else in that circumstance lest their situation be more dire than mine. OH also they may mark themselves as specialists in gender care (or at least able to care for transgender patients), but I would highly advise against seeing them for this kind of care. Like I said before they are negligent and cannot handle things in a timely manner--this includes your prescriptions!! I simply cannot stand this inconsistency when it comes to my health and hormones any longer; And I hope that I can persuade you out of seeking care here so you may not endure the same test of patience and stresses.

Gravenstein Health Center is an absolute NIGHTMARE. I think they are wearing their masks too long throughout the day and it’s seriously affecting their cognitive function as a staff- including the CEO, Jason Cunningham.Extremely inconsistent and on different pages and they never answer or return phone calls on top of it. This is a Mickey Mouse operation from top to bottom. On 3 or 4 different occasions they’ve shown themselves to literally be a disaster. We made an apt for my son to get a quick clearance to play pop warner football, and they first lost his paperwork from his previous visit and made him come in for a zoom call with a “remote doctor”, which is ridiculous, he could have done that from home.On top of that, they somehow forgot that this was a simple clearance for football and said we needed to come back AGAIN to be seen by someone in person. Total waste of a trip, AFTER they had dropped the ball the first time (strike #1) by losing his paperwork which they never apologized for or held any sort of accountability.THEN, finally:I make an apt to have my leg seen, and I mentioned three times in separate phone conversations that I am exempt from wearing face-muzzle dehumanization diapers, and they said, “no problem, we have protocol for that, we will just see you outside”.I’m never happy to be segregated or discriminated against and not given fair and equal access due to a medical and religious exemption, but I figured no problem, I prefer fresh air anyways. When I got there I was not allowed in and told to wait outside. I was then visited by a lady named “Yori” I believe, who said she spoke with the CEO (Cunningham) and he had told her to refuse me service of any kind whatsoever. Not even could I be seen outside where no one was, where I was told I would see the doctor over the phone previously. I then spoke with Jason for close to 10 minutes outside and explained my religious and medical exemptions that are backed by the law AND the state health order. He refused to acknowledge the exemptions and claimed “there are no exemptions to wearing masks”- despite numerous laws, constitutions and state and county ordinances clearly stating the opposite when it comes to religious freedom and medical conditions.I then called Jason afterwards on his cell and read him the state health order exemptions for medical conditions and he refused yet again to acknowledge them. I’ll be sending you paperwork Jason, you have violated the law and will be held accountable. The place that claims to be about community and health also unapologetically made my other family members waste time, money and energy.Do yourself a favor People and Stay AWAY from this mess of an organization.
Wow, horrible service at this location with the whole staff the day my friend went. He just needed a quick appointment to get an injury looked over. But he has an exemption for masks. He called 3x before he talked to someone and notified them of his exemption, the staff member let him know they could see him outside in the open air. But when he arrived that was not the case. he was turned away, they did not see him that day, due to discrimination.I recommend saving time and going to a different location.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
