This man has saved my skin and brought back my confidence. He is professional, knowledgeable, honest and compassionate. I do not trust anyone else with my face other than him.
Dr. Lee is an amazing dermatologist. He is both caring and knowledgeable. He truly listens, takes time with you, and is genuinely concerned. His staff are all pleasant and the appointments are always on time. The office is beautiful and spotless ….parking is easy and ample. Five stars isn’t enough!
Appointment kept on time. Very short wait time. Dr. Lee is very personable and professional. Listens.
My mother has Bullous Pemphigoid. A rare autoimmune disorder. Her GP recommended Dr. Phillip Lee. The woman that answered the phone was flippant & rude. Finally was able to get an appt that I had to cancel because of the rain. My mother is also a stroke survivor and it's difficult to get her in & out in rain. The woman on the phone said the next appt she could give her was in 5 weeks! This is a disease that needs to be addressed asap. No compassion or understanding. Went to another Dr. that were helpful & wonderful.
Went to him for some pregnancy-related skin issues in 2017. Great bedside manners. Caring demeanor. Office is modern with a lot of great skin care product samples. Went back for other issues later and was able to get appointments very quickly with his PA.
Terrible. Staff is rude. Dr Lee doesn't know how to get to the root of the problem. He only wants to prescribe you whatever meds he's getting his commission on. He is over priced and will only see you for about a ten minute appointment but charge you over $140. Questions about root causes of problem skin annoy him. He wants you in and out of his office quickly. I would not recommend him
Dr. Lee Shettle recently performed my cataract surgery. All I can say is how incredibly professional, compassionate and patient Dr. Shettle and his entire staff were with me. He goes above and beyond caring for his patients. I know I am not alone in saying this about Dr. Shettle, because I have randomly meet other patients of his and they all had the same outstanding things to say about him. He calmed me down when I needed it and never once talked down to me and always took the time to answer all of my questions completely and reassured me that all would be fine. I just can't say enough good things about my cataract surgery experience!
He is awesome!! So caring and concerned about your well-being. He did a beautiful job on removing BCC on my face---did the Moh's procedure, and you can barely tell anything was done. (I'm fair skinned, so you can see a 1 inch red line when I get too much sun exposure) And that was about 7 years ago. He does great work.
I went to have 4 moles removed. I've had a history of skin cancer. When I was 14 years old I developed skin cancer, which I had removed. I am now 26. Dr. Lee didn't seem to believe that I had had skin cancer at 14. Two of the moles I wanted removed were on my neck-the same spot where I had skin cancer when I was 14. He told me he wouldn't let my insurance pay for it!!!!!! He said all of my moles would be removed for cosmetic reasons, so he wouldn't allow my insurance to cover the removal. I even had my prior dermatologist fax over proof of the cancer I had when I was 14. Dr. Lee still didn't believe me! I should have gone to a different doctor!!! I wanted the moles removed for fear of having skin cancer again. I think he thought I was making up the story so insurance would pay for a "beauty procedure." Please do not go to him if you are referred. Ask for a different doctor.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
