Took time to explain my condition and how can i improve it.
Dr Rogers, her assistant Jeff and her entire staff are wonderful. Everyone is so nice and caring. Dr Rogers explains everything and doesn’t feel rushed. Best experience ever!!
Very professional, caring and knowledgeable. She listens to the patient and understands my discomfort. She is kind and caring and relatable. So glad I found her.
She is a good doctor and is informative.
So rude and short. I was referred to her from my primary care doctor to go over my MRI findings for a herniated disc. Her PA was with me first in the room. He seemed very unprofessional and rude. Dr. Rogers barely went over my options -pt vs surgery. Brushed over surgery saying “if we did that we’d just cut off the herniation” and didn’t further explain. She said the herniation would just be something I’d have to live with. Prescribed me 8 weeks of pt but this seemed to be a plan to nowhere. If it couldn’t be corrected would I just be taking pt and disability to manage the pain until the next flare up? I was referred to get a shot for pain. I didn’t think that was smart as I thought I may injure myself more if I couldn’t feel the pain. I mentioned to the PA I had another appt booked in a few days for a second opinion. He replied “oh well that’s good but if you think you’re confused now, you’ll be even more confused after that”. He also asked if I wanted to take a photo of the imaging on the computer “for your significant other.” That is such an insensitive thing to say to a woman in that room alone. To assume I had a significant other. I replied that “I don’t have one,” as I was already crying. So I booked the 8 week out follow up appointment. Luckily my appt for the 2nd opinion was the completely the opposite type of appt. That doctor explained fully where I was at, what my options were, and really asked a lot of questions on my lifestyle and physical goals. I’m so grateful I had that second opinion booked and felt taken care of.
I am an 81 year old who got her life back because of the exceptional skill and care provided by Dr. Tiffany Rogers.I was terrified of spine surgery. As a result, the quality of my life, for several years, had increasingly diminished due to low back pain, radiating pain down my leg, numbness in my foot and walking bent over. My condition was deteriorating. Thankfully, I found Dr. Rogers. My initial visit to Dr. Rogers was in September where she reviewed and explained my MRI, diagnosed my condition and explained the need for surgery and the consequences of not having surgery. She was thorough, patient and reassuring. On October 24, 2023, Dr. Rogers performed spinal fusion surgery. On October 25th, I was up, walking tall and feeling very happy.I can’t express how overwhelmingly grateful I am to Dr. Rogers and with the results. I will continue to sing her praises. She is truly the expert.I have my life back. I can now do the things I was doing before I became incapacitated with pain.Thank you Dr. Rogers.
