Very surprised to see such high ratings for this doctor. I have an arbitrary autoimmune disease which causes me a great deal of pain and weakness on my right side which limits me greatly which I see another doctor for. The first time I saw this doctor and told him about it, he told me it was all in my head and was anxiety. When I got Covid I was very Ill and called his office to request Paxlovid. They refused to give it me despite my inflammatory condition and consistent low white blood cell counts over the years. They then had the audacity to bill my insurance $200+ afterwards despite doing nothing for me. I ended up testing positive for 40+ days on rapid tests because my body struggled to clear the virus. Another time I called to book an appointment and his staff said he refused to see me and to go to the ER because it was related to chest pain. I told them it was positional and wasn’t anything serious and didn’t require a $3000 ER visit but just wanted to rule it out and asked to talk to him. When he got on the phone I was calm and tried to politely explain my situation, but he was extremely abrasive and condescending. He raised his voice and spoke over me and then hung up the phone. He then falsified an entry on my file which stated I was being combative and argumentative. I understand his perspective behind wanting me to go to the ER, but his tone, unprofessionalism, and polarizing demeanor was completely unwarranted.

Hartford Healthcare is a horrible company who doesn't care to really offer good Healthcare or take care of their patients at all only to over charge and do as little as possible if anything at all

Dr. Neuman took the time to establish new patient care, did a thorough physical and asked more pointed questions about my medical history than all previous providers. Dr. Nueman is wise with a sense of humor and attention to detail. I am grateful to be in his care.
