List of Starling Physicians's Reviews
I had a great experience here! I have been to many Doctor's offices and I find that compared to most, it is easy to speak to someone on the phone relatively quick. I was not in the waiting room for long, and compared to other dermatologists, Lindsey spent a good amount of time with me hearing out my concerns.

I had waited Three months for my appt. The people were nice but when I saw the Dr. She looked at a couple things and told me they had to send me somewhere else in downtown NewBritain, to another Dr. Basically told me she didn't know, they don't do checks on moles but another place does and They didn't have a doctor on staff anymore who could help me But now I could get in sooner if I came back Again, The GPS brings you to a different area and you can't find the place When I got there they said oh that happens to everyone but they don't tell you and give you specific directions, In the waiting room they came out and told Some lady her Dr. Is going to me half hour late and she had already been there for awhile, they don't do anything except maybe refer you to another Dr. it was a waste of time and money.
Absolutely fabulous experience!! I suffered from horrible cystic acne for years -- as an adult. Nothing worked until Courtney Donarum, APRN, tried something off-book and unusual. It worked and she has helped me maintain clear skin for years now. It may be difficult to get an appointment but that's just because they're so great!

After being a patient at this practice for years, I am now forced to go somewhere else. Patients have to wait a month or more for a procedure or an appointment, and this is very frustrating when you are trying to rule out what is medically wrong. Today I arrived to start a week long procedure (Monday, Wednesday and Friday) and was told that because I had been in Florida they would not do the procedure. I was never told that traveling to another state would result in the cancellation of my appointment. I was also told when I scheduled this procedure that I could not cancel it as it was very expensive ($2,000). I waited 6 weeks to get this procedure done and also checked in online to all three appointments last week. That was plenty of time to call me and tell me that I needed to get a Covid test or to reschedule. So...five months later after several appointments, countless calls, denied medical attention, and constant pain, I still do not know what is wrong with me and have to start from scratch with a new dermatologist. I agree with the other reviewers that the manager of the front desk staff is awful, rude, and unsympathetic.
Dr Kallor retired we had been going to him for 20 yrs. excellent Dr. but Starling could not help recommend a replacement and we had to go else where , very disappointing
I took my father for a follow up for a growth on his face that was removed. The first visit I was not impressed. July 2nd I drove him in the worst weather ever. Walk in was told we may not be able to seen today. I was appalled. They said their phones and computers were down. I asked them why didn't they call us. Our phones are down. Ok well I work for a doctor's office. We use our cells phones and use doximity app which doesn't show our personal number and costs zero $ to the cell phone user. He had a growth removed. Just removed with the liquid no biopsy no sutures. All the provider needs to do is look at it. Then I proceeded to say we aren't coming back if we aren't seen. Of course using a mask makes everything sound muffled. I made a point of sharing my disgust about the entire situation and didn't care that there was another patient in the waiting room. My mask muffled my very loud voice. I should have listened to my gut feeling the first time we were there. I wouldn't entertain the thought of going back there. DONNA the APRN was very nice. That's the only reason I gave them a star. This office needs management to review how to handle situations and educate their front desk staff. It starts with the front desk. They represent the office. There can be an awesome provider but if the office is run poorly. It doesn't matter how awesome the provider is.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
