Dr. Larosa at Sunwise Dermatology is an exceptional doctor and does awesome work. She removed some spots that were pre-cancer under my eye and you cannot even see what she did. No scar, nothing. She is caring and thoughtful to her patients. If you are looking for a top of the line surgeon Dr. Larose is your doctor.

If you are looking for a great dermatologist and need anything removed, Dr. LaRusso is the best. She did a procedure on my neck that no doctor wanted to touch. Dr. LaRusso did a FABALOUS job! After the procedure, she had me come back several times and checked to make sure there was no scar tissue and really did a fabulous job.

I was with a family member who was having the mohs procedure. The surgeon was performing multiple procedures. I was wondering if they overbooked. Generally, a sample is taken, then you wait an hour for results. We've been waiting 2 hours since first tissue extraction. It would probably help the provider if Sunwise had 2 other providers.

Dr LaRusso and her staff were very polite and caring especially during a recent minor procedure. During the procedure, Dr. LaRusso explained each step that was being done and made sure i was feeling okay. Post procedure, when i had questions, my calls were answered very promptly. Im very pleased with the outcome of the procedure and am happy that they are part of my care team!

2 months ago Dr. Larusso took a basil cell off my chest. You can barely tell I had anything done. My experience through out the process was exceptional. Sunrise dermatology Dr. Larusso and her staff are proficient, knowledgeable, and very welcoming. I would highly recommend her practice.

Sent to sunwise by my Insurance company. However tje have out of date credentillimg as the office does not accept new patients

I was scheduled to have two small cysts that were right next to each other removed from my scalp. Instead, Dr. LaRusso only removed one of the cysts, and despite following all of the post-op care procedures to the letter, it left a massive scar an inch wide and several inches long that no hairstyle could possibly hide. During the procedure, she asked if I took blood thinners, which I don't, but that's generally the type of question you ask BEFORE cutting someone open. She ended up having to do a bunch of cauterization to stem the bleeding from the huge incision, which is something I've never required during pilar cyst removals performed by other surgeons in the past, and likely contributed to the size of this unsightly scar. I've had much larger pilar cysts removed by surgeons at other practices, and the scars from those procedures are much smaller and nearly imperceptible. Furthermore, I was never once given the chance to see or speak to Dr. LaRusso before or after the procedure. I am so upset. I feel like I got butchered, and highly regret having the procedure performed at Sunwise. I can't envision returning here for future procedures, nor would I recommend others do so.

I had my regular annual skin check and Jerry took a biopsy of a mole on my face. To my surprise it came back as basal cell. Within 2 weeks I was having the Moe’s procedure by Dr Larusso. Dr Larusso and Michelle (medical assistant) were very comforting, informative, compassionate and caring throughout the entire process. When Dr Larusso says “ please don’t be upset, there is a method to my madness “ you get mixed emotions and fear, when I saw myself I was in shock but she explained very thoroughly why I looked the way that I did. I had the procedure done just 3 months ago and you can barely tell I had anything done. Can only imagine how it will look in 6-12months. I highly recommend her and her magician hands.
