Onehealth Primary Care's Online Review Report Card

At my annual exam, discussed with nurse (never see a doctor, just the Nurse Practitioner) my shoulder pain which started some months before when injured. He ordered Xray and physical therapy. I was referred to Select Physical Therapy, who called me to set an appointment. I explained to them that I needed to get the Xray results before setting an appointment. I started getting multiple phone messages from Select that I needed to call to set a PT appointment. I also spoke with the person at the OneHealth referral department and explained that I was waiting for the Xray results first. I got the ordered Xray, but didn't receive any follow up from OneHealth. I called OneHealth and spoke with someone at the front desk to explain that I needed the Xray results before going for the PT. They promised me a call back but I never got called back. I started to get phone messages from the same person at OneHealth referral department that I needed to follow up with Select to set the PT appointment. I called them back and left a detailed message. I called again and spoke with the same person, who had no idea what I was talking about, didn't even recognized my name even though he left me a message the day before to call him, until he pulled up my records on his computer. I then spent 15 minutes on the phone explaining to him over and over that I needed the Xray results before going for PT. He couldn't understand and kept just telling that the PT was authorized and I needed to call Select. I finally got switched to someone else at OneHealth referral department who was able to understand. He told that I had missed the Nov 14th appointment they had set with Select PT. OneHealth never told me that I had an appointment, only that I needed to call Select to set one. He checked about the Xray and then told me I needed to set a follow-up appointment with the nurse for the Xray results, and switched me to the front desk to set the appointment. I waited on hold for the call to ring through to the front desk, but eventually got switched to voicemail instead. In also had a referral from OneHealth to a gastroenterologist for a routine colonoscopy, but decided to wait until next spring when my schedule would be more open. I spoke with the same person at the OneHealth referral department, who had set an appointment with the gastroenterologist without consulting me for my schedule. I asked him to cancel that appointment and he said he would. When I spoke with him again most recently, I discovered that he never cancelled that appointment. No personal service; no follow up; no good. This company puts on a good PR face, but don't expect to be anything more than a statistic on their computers.

One Health in Largo did a great job this past week. I had a pain in my chest and they had me come in and in an hour I was on an EKG machine. Dr E and all her staff were friendly, professional and got the job done. Great service ! Highly recommend.

In my opinion doctor Mo Cale is probably the worst doctor I have ever had in my entire life. I am a seventy three year old male. The best advice I can give to you is find another doctor. This is not your guy. He clearly doesn't care about his patients. He does not listen. The staff was excellent. The problem here is the doctor.

My Dr. Tera McNally wasn't in the office at the time of my visit and Chris took care of me very good. Thank you Chris for your service and patience with me.
