List of Toni Richards-Rowley's Reviews
Sent us out with no medical recommendations or care given even though we had specific issues that needed to be addressed. Was told to come back in 2-3 days if symptoms persist. Meanwhile I had to take a day off, pay a co pay, for absolutely no medical care given. She has zero fiduciary responsibility. Now we are having to go back to the doctor with potentially needing an ER visit because we tried to get medical care before this got any worse and now it has.
the worst of the worst. avoid her at all costs.
My children have been seing Dr. Richards for 6+ years. In the last year or so the staff has been on a revolving door. The once pleasant, family like atmosphere is gone. I have made appts and they've gotten lost or deleted in system, prescriptions have gone to the wrong pharmacy, there is no consistency in the billing (sometimes you pay on way out, sometimes they say you're good and you get a bill), and the doctor has become rushed and cold. I loved this practice and always referred them to anyone looking for recommendations. I will now be deferring people that ask from her. Today I was not prepared to pay on my way out due to inconsistent billing practices and was told I was being discharged from the practice for constantly "harassing" her staff about my bills. Also, I don't think I was even out the door before she removed me from her portal so I couldn't print out my children's immunization records. This is very rude and unprofessional.
Dr. Richards-Rowley was my kid's pediatrician for 12 years. My 16 year old son got into a car accident and had to be taken to the hospital for a concussion. The next day, he was sick to his stomach and I called the office to see if Dr. Richard's would evaluate him. The office manager advised me to go to the hospital and I asked to at least speak to the doctor. The doctor was off that day but on call. She would not let me speak to her. She said call was only for emergencies. I pointed out that if she was advising me to go to the emergency room was that not an emergency? I ended up taking him to the hospital and he was only a little dehydrated. The doctor called me the next day and was uncaring and said "I'm sorry I can't be here 24/7" repeatedly. In 12 years I only called her office 1 time prior to this to speak to her. She would not see my son because of the car accident even when I offered to pay out of pocket. The one time I really needed her and she completely let us down
Physicians staff failed to take vital signs on my son. Which would have detected his low o then saturation’s. During evaluation it was detected his oxygen levels were low, he was wheezing and lung sounds were diminished. The dr advised me that she prefer I follow up with the allergist for the inhaler my son needed inspite of the fact that he was presently having breathing issues. In addition, the allergist appointment was 3 weeks away and I couldn’t get an earlier he had been without the inhaler 2 days. The dr was not moved by this information until I called the allergist office she heard me tell them she would not give my child the script. The doctor returned to the room stated that this relationship would not work as her office walls are thin and she heard my phone conversation. While discussing the issue I advised that she should have evaluated and fully treated my son. Toni Rowley stated I woulda shoulda coulda but I didn’t. This person lacks integrity, lacks competence in skill set and bedside manner is poor.my son receives one breathing treatment and when we left and headed straight to the allergist office my son’s oxygen saturation was only 93%. The allergist took us in as a walk in which they don’t do once they checked my son’s vitals they worked on him for almost 3 hours to ensure he was ok. In addition, this dr who did not even look at my child’s nares, ears or mouth misses his sinusitis infection and rhinitis diagnosis. He will have a head CT today due to its severity. Your child is not safe under the care of Toni Richards Rowley. She will not fully evaluate and treat your child
This dr failed to treat my son whose 02 Sats were at 93% declining to prescribe him the necessary preventative inhaler that would prevent these type of episodes. Instead she advised he would need to follow up his specialist who I told her could not see my son for 3 weeks. She provided 1 dose of nebulizer treatment which only raising his 02 sats to 95%. I called the specialIst after my call the dr enters stating she heard my conversation through her paper thin walls (that is what she called them) she stated that she would not see my son as she heard what I said to the specialist office about her. After discussing what should have occurred the dr responds “shoulda coulda woulda but I didn’t” meaning could have fully evaluated and treated my child but she chose not to. Arriving at the specialist 8 minutes later my son’s sats were back at 93%. My child was given the wrong neb treatment per the specialist. I question this drs integrity, competence and the bedside manner is poor.
This doctor has been my children's doctor for the last three years. I am completely dissatisfied not only with the doctor but her staff. My child was having a reaction to medication she prescribed a couple days prior. I was very concerned and on the verge of going to the emergency room. I brought my son into her office and she refused to see him. She could not care less of his condition. I told them I would wait however long to be seen and if she could possibly squeeze me in it would be very much appreciated. I was asked to leave the office. On a separate occasion I wanted normal shot records for school registration and the office insisted I needed a appointment just to get forms. Now my child has up to date shots but I was refused as a request to get the record without a appointment. They just want the copay. When I found out I didn't need the records to register my child for school they charged me a $50 no show fee 9 months later! Yes 9 months later I received a $50 bill. I didn't
My daughter had testing with this doctor. We received a call after 5pm with a message telling me I should come in the next morning without my daughter. I called right back but no answer. My husband and I worried all night and got almost no sleep. I went in, paid our co-pay (not cheap), doctor came in and said nothing showed up on the test so no answer on my daughter's issue. I told her how concerned we had been all night because of the worrisome message and didn't understand why we had to pay to get a 'no results' answer. In our experience, nurses just generally give that results over the phone and there is no charge. She just shrugged and didn't have an answer. I left feeling like money was the priority and not the patient.
Twice my sick child’s prescriptions were not called in at time of visit but hours later and only after I had to call and persuade them to. Very disappointed that they choose how long to wait before giving children relief... twice this happened Feb to May 2018
We have been going to Dr. Toni for just under 4 years. She as well as her staff, are always so wonderful, patient and kind. They are so helpful and nice. I have yet to have any issues with getting appointments, and bonus, they actually run on time!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
