This was the worst customer service I had in a long time. First, the girl behind the deck is lost as hell, I had my appointment at 1:30/p.m...... and my insurance recommended this place to me. My insurance company told me I had no copay and then when I got there she told me I had a copay for something. But yet she is telling me I don't have a copay for my yearly exam. This place is a mess because I feel if you don't share the same color as someone else then you will be treated differently. Shame on this place and Dr.Franco.

The wait time is ridiculous, they have so many clients in the waiting room and no sense of time management! AC doesn’t work and it was too humid in there! Not going back

Awful experience! I'll never ever recommend anyone to go to Bird Eye Institute. Go there if you want to waste of your energy, time, money and receive careless customer service experience from the front desk to the doctor! They seem don't care much about the customers. Also, They won't cover much from your insurance, they make you pay for co-pay, even is in the network. Probably thats the reason why they have those kind of low quality services. My plan was to get my annual contact prescription and end up they want me to pay $100 to order the testing contacts lens and on top of $30 co-pay. And told I have to wait couple week for them to receive the the test contact lens. Everything there is just make no sense. Worst experience I ever had!

Doctor bird came to my appointment 1hour and 43 mins late…. Didn’t acknowledge me(the patient) who’s also a mental health patient and decided to get in my husbands face screaming and causing a scene leading me to having a panic attack. All because my husband simply greeted him and stated that he thought Dr.Bird was at a family emergency and was thinking we should reschedule. He got up and tried to get in my husband face while my husband was sitting there confused. Doctor bird proceeded to ignore me telling him to stop it’s a misunderstanding , continued telling my husband where he can go, and walked out of MY appointment. Mind you I had punctal plugs put in a month before this was my follow up and my eyes were worse. The pressure behind my left eye was 22 and full of mucus, only to wait almost 2 hours to be ignored and verbally assaulted by him. He doesn’t do anything as an eye doctor his techs do everything. Honestly in my opinion he is not a great person in general. 🚩🚩🚩🚩 The atmosphere of the office is racist and dirty. The seats are so close and the room capacity is too small for the amount of people coming in which is unsafe. No one at the front has any kind of service skill just simply hired because they’re Spanish. In fact I felt uncomfortable every time I went there being pushed off on techs instead of being serviced by the Doctor you booked and pay money to for service. 🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩 Baldwin park location btw

Dr Leslie Garay is very good knowledgeable doctor. I would definitely recommend her. She also performs surgeries. Office stuff also very nice.

Just don’t waste your time. Staff is rude, they have zero clue about customer service. Never on time for appointments. Have at least two hours to spare in waiting area until they call your name. Oh, and don’t make the mistake to walk out without your scripts. They will never fax it to the right pharmacy.

Wait time is extremely long. Waited over an hour to be seen. Why schedule appointments if you cannot keep it. They are all about packing patients in overlapping them. Seems like it’s all about money not care. Visited twice and both times were over an hour wait.
