I had my Lasik surgery 5 months ago and both eyes are 20/15!!! Love it. Dr. Herschel and his team were very professional and ran on time. They took Covid-19 seriously which I appreciate and why I recommended my mother to see them. If you are looking for an Ophthalmologist that is cautious and is meticulous about avoiding complications and takes the time to explain things, this is your guy. Thanks you.

I just got discharged from Dr Herschel yesterday. I am absolutely in love with how my surgery came out! I love the staff, office and Dr Herschel!! They are amazing! Everything is super clean, professional, transparent, and fast pace! He makes sure your eyes are ready before he even does the surgery! Super easy process! So happy!! I can’t believe I get to open my eyes and I don’t have to set time ahead for putting on my contacts or make sure I have eye glasses. I am in heaven!! Thank you Dr. Herschel!!

I loved working with Beatriz and the entire staff at Dr. Herschel’s practice. I had considered Lasik for many years before going for it. After doing research, I decided that I wanted Dr. Herschel to do my surgery. He is a fantastic doctor, and I am happy with my decision to get Lasik with him. I am satisfied with my results, and I am glad that I no longer have to wear contacts/glasses.

I went to Dr. Herschel for cataract surgery which is coming soon. He took the time to explained all my concerns, he has excellent bed side manners, he listens to you and he cares. The staff at Magruder is fantastic. My thanks to Mia, she explained everything regarding everything concerning insurance, which plan to choose for the surgery and acted fast regarding everything single questions and solving it, compassionate, caring and great. Gloria, what can I say, she is great, take the time to call you back even after hrs as well and taking care that your papers are in order and all is perfect the way it should be for you. Very compassionate and caring. Yesenia, surgery scheduler for Dr. Herschel. She is caring, she also call you back to accommodate you the best way for you. If there’s a cancellation she will call you back to accommodate you. Jade, thank you for going the extra mile when I walk in with an emergency last week prior to surgery. To everyone at Magruder my deepest appreciation to all of you. This makes me feel very comfortable going into my surgery this coming week. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. God bless!!

Extremely thorough and informative during my visit. I was getting a second opinion on an eye problem that has not been improving from another doctor. I was so relieved and happy to find an answer and a treatment plan, I have all the confidence in Dr. Herschel.

Love, love, love Dr. Herschel! He is not the chatty, warm and fuzzy kind of doctor but he is the kind that does not give up and works to solve the problem. I mean seriously works at it. My mother-in-law's arthritis attacked her cornea and it has not been an easy fix, but he really cares about patient outcome. Appreciate his dedication!

I was wanting to get LASIK surgery. I had visited many doctors. I chose Dr. Herschel because of how thorough he was. I'm so happy with my great vision and can't even begin to tell you how amazing his staff is. Thanks you Dr Herschel and staff for making me feel like family.

I had PRK eye surgery on October 22, 2016--- I highly recommend Dr. Herschel and his wonderful staff to anyone that needs an eye procedure/surgery.   Dr. Herschel and his staff are impeccable in their skills- friendly- caring- helpful- professional- knowledgeable!  Dr. Herschel- Dawn- McKayla- Jennifer- Brittany- Norma- are wonderful and you feel "like family" when you enter their office door!  The office is state of the art and welcoming.  I was "afraid" of eye surgery- but they take such great care of you- (explaining everything that is  happening) I was fine- they even held my hands during the surgery.  I thank Dr. Herschel- Dawn-McKayla-Jennifer- Brittany- Norma for everything and just being "the best"!                         Susan L. I am so happy to have had Dr. Herschel and his team perform LASIK on me. My husband, who had it done by them 10 years ago (and are still perfect), referred me to him. From the first moment I walked in, everyone was so nice to me. There is never more than a 2 min wait for anything. It is so clean and friendly. And the whole team is there for you every step of the way. Dawn even held my hand during the procedure because my anxiety kicked in. They even called to check on me that night and the next morning after the procedure to make sure I was ok. Not many places in the whole country have a bedside manner like they do. I would highly recommend Dr. Herschel and his team to anyone needing their eyes done. I always say go to the best and THEY ARE THE BEST!!!!!
