I loved working with Beatriz and the entire staff at Dr. Herschel’s practice. I had considered Lasik for many years before going for it. After doing research, I decided that I wanted Dr. Herschel to do my surgery. He is a fantastic doctor, and I am happy with my decision to get Lasik with him. I am satisfied with my results, and I am glad that I no longer have to wear contacts/glasses.

Loved my experience with the amazing staff and care for my surgery. I was nervous, however they took care of all my needs.

I had my Lasik surgery 5 months ago and both eyes are 20/15!!! Love it. Dr. Herschel and his team were very professional and ran on time. They took Covid-19 seriously which I appreciate and why I recommended my mother to see them. If you are looking for an Ophthalmologist that is cautious and is meticulous about avoiding complications and takes the time to explain things, this is your guy. Thanks you.

Back in 2002 I had cataract removals both eyes within 3 months. Because I had complications with Fuch cornea disease he carefully used a different type of surgical instruments which worked for my right eye. Returning later for the Left eye he noticed that the requested special type of surgical instruments were not prepared for use; instead regular surgical instruments were prepared for use. Instead of waiting for the correct instruments he swore than decided not to wait but performed the cataract removal which immediately swelled my eye for 3 months leaving me with lesser vision. His response to me from my request to do a corneal transplant to make it right was I don't need it but referred me to another doctor for further treatment. He was cool to me for my subsequent visits. Today years later that eye has deteriorated to not allow me to pass the eye exam for a driver's license. I failed.Update:Last March 2020 I finally had insurance for another doctor (the best) do my cornea transplant. Due to prior damage he could achieve from 200 to 60 vision and not the 40 needed. In addition to Dr. Hershel's poor choice of using the wrong instruments, I find out now the new lens he placed was not secured but dropped down a fraction. It doesn't obscure vision but it wasn't tightly secure enough to do a regular cornea transplant hence forever a compromised vision.

I just got discharged from Dr Herschel yesterday. I am absolutely in love with how my surgery came out! I love the staff, office and Dr Herschel!! They are amazing! Everything is super clean, professional, transparent, and fast pace! He makes sure your eyes are ready before he even does the surgery! Super easy process! So happy!! I can’t believe I get to open my eyes and I don’t have to set time ahead for putting on my contacts or make sure I have eye glasses. I am in heaven!! Thank you Dr. Herschel!!

I just "graduated" from Dr Herschel!! He is the absolute best Eye surgery doctor you will find! The staff is super nice and friendly. They explain everything in detail and they make sure your eyes are ready for Lasik! I will continue to recommend him to anyone. He is the best!! This was my graduation gift!

I honestly don't know what I would do without Dr. Herschel. I had terrible vision from the time I've been a child. My eyesight was -8.5 and -7.5. Dr. Herschel got me to 20/20 vision with lasik. The process was easy, painless, and affordable. The staff is incredible, friendly, helpful and kind. The Dr himself is amazing. I recommend anyone who is considering lasik to go here!

Absolutely the rudest, most unfriendly “doctor” I have ever encountered!!!! Does not explain procedures etc, when you ask or don’t understand he get an attitude. He even insinuated to me I complained about my issues!!! He is a burnt out doctor.

I recently had my lasik surgery in February after not being able to barely see for 23 years. I can now see perfect and Dr. Herschel was amzing!!! He talked me through the whole procedure and was so reassuring. I didn't think I would be calm but believe it or not I was super calm thanks to him. I highly recommend him and now looking forward for my son to see him next.

Dr. Herschel is amazing!  I recently had a very serious eye problem and Dr. Herschel treated me in his office ON A SATURDAY!!!!  Dr. Herschel is so professional and friendly and took such great care of me.  The minute I walked in his office, I felt better.  Dr. Herschel's demeanor, kindness and bedside manner is unmatched.  I cannot thank him enough for the care I received!!!
