I recently had cataract surgery through Magruder Laser Vision. The entire experience was wonderful. I began the process at the Dr Phillips office where everyone was courteous, proficient and very professional. Alexandria, the concierge, was especially helpful. She provided all the information I needed, answered all of my questions, and checked on me post-surgery. My surgery and post-op appointments were at the College Park office. The entire staff there was wonderful. Dr. Shumski was/is a supremely talented surgeon and Dr. Nguyen and Dr. Calloway provided excellent pre and post-op care. I am very pleased with my new vision and with the entire process there. I highly recommend Magruder Laser Vision!

The staff at Magruder Laser Vision in the Dr. Philips office are excellent. From the receptionists in the front office, the staff testing your eyes, and Alexandria, Patient Concierge/scheduler, everything was handle professionally and all questions answered. Dr. Michael Shumski also took his time to answer all of my questions and gave me great advice. I felt confident after meeting all of them that I was in great hands!

I had a cataract removed from my right eye. They really did a good job and my eye has come back really good. I’m really pleased. The doctors and nurses were very professional and explained everything really good. I’m glad I went there.

Just had cataract surgery on both my eyes this past Thursday. In the beginning I was nervous and had high anxiety regarding having the surgery. Magruder Laser Vision at Dr. Phillips was just awesome and Alexandria was amazing at explaining and answering all my questions and really put me at ease. The staff along with Dr. Shumski I can't recommend enough! I'm really enjoying having my eyesight back! Thank you all so much!....well worth it for anyone who needs it.

Amazing experience. Alexandria my concierge walked me through everything I needed to know about with my lasik surgery for cataracts. Doctors, Nurses everyone was truly the very best!

We were so pleased with everything at Magruder and a special shoutout to Alexandria Vazquez. She is the Patient Concierge and she thoroughly explained everything in a clear way and she was so pleasant and friendly!

The office staff is friendly and helpful as is the doctor. My vision is at 20/20 in the one eye, other eye still to be done. The difference in my vision already is amazing! I highly recommend Magruder.

I can absolutely recommend the Magruder Laser Vision office in Dr. Phillips. The front desk staff is so courteous and helpful. The examination nurse was thorough and very nice. Dr. Shumski was terrific and obviously skilled...the results of my surgery are amazing. And Alexandria, the concierge, worked with me through every step of the process and after. (6 stars to the office and staff.)

My new ability to see things that I thought were spotless before may bankrupt me buying cleaning supplies as all lamp shades have now been washed, AC vents cleaned, and ceiling fans dustfree. Did the toaster really need to have every stuck crumb removed from the bottom tray! ;-) Thanks to all at Magruder for giving me 20/20 in each eye for distance and near vision! I pray it continues until all body parts are perfect in heaven! Blessings to all!
