No, I would not refer this provider to anyone. Although Dr Graham was polite and professional while examing me, he was very impersonal. I have been coming here for several years and it seems they always find a way to charge you cash for something. Last year, I was charged $50 for a prescription. Had I not asked for a prescription, I would not have had this fee. This year, I was charged $50 and when I questioned why I was being charged I was told it was for the exam that would have allowed me to get a prescription, had I asked for one. Apparently the rules changed and although I have a vision policy, that could not be used because I was seeing an ophthalmologist. Since I was there because I have cataracts, you would think I would be asked if I wanted an actual eye exam, since they know up from the insurance will not pay for it. Prior to last year, I never got an actual prescription and never had to pay $50, although I was asked if I wanted a copy of the prescription when I checked out/
These reviews here are awful. I almost canceled my appointment because of them. The staff was extremely safe, friendly and organized. Dr. Graham is great. Very thorough and informative. Made sure I didn't have any questions at all.
Dr Graham was awesome he was professional & comforting but office experience HORRIBLE SERVICE: The staff is rude, you are huddled from room to room like cattle. the wait time is ridiculous. they ask upfront to be paid for services yet they send you bills stating you did not pay your bill. I was told to take it up with a supervisor Chad who called and had a rude attitude asked me why did I come back to them since I did not like the service since 02/19. I was already in the process & the anticipation & fear of surgery made me stay to complete both surgery but I have never been more dissatisfied with a medical group. I have been told that my insurance has not paid for the first surgery yet so embarrassed I called my insurance company who stated they paid Magruder & was able to furnish a check number. Chad told me that I was speaking too loudly after explaining I was speaking from a car phone & may sound loud but I was not shouting or upset and for that reason he will not reverse the illeg
His office staff are not well trained, so it doesn’t transfer into confidence in the Doctor. I won’t be returning to that office.
Would not recommend.
I felt confident in trusting Dr Graham doing cataract removal on both my eyes. He made the experience very comforting.
This overall office practice needs much better patient flow coordination. There are extremely long wait times, both on the phone and in person. Not good at all. Staff seems rushed and overloaded. Physicians seem disinterested and overscheduled. Perhaps profit is the driving ethic in this practice. Not good.
My opthamologist recommended Dr Graham for cataract surgery. I was a long time contact wearer and after telling me I needed to stop wearing them for a period of time, then making me wait another week just to be sure, the staff measured my eyes several times to get the proper fit for implants. Dr Graham explained the various implants and suggested I was a good candidate for the ones I wanted. Things moved quickly the days of my surgeries and my results are outstanding. A year later Dr Graham explained the change in my vision and what could be done and when, to correct it. I will return when it's time. The only problem was billing. On arrival for surgery we were told more was owed than we expected. Fortunately we could pay. Later after our insurance paid their portion we got a refund. Then we were billed again then got a refund. Keep receipts and watch the billing.
Disappointed with Dr Graham. He spent a total of 3 min 22sec with me only to prescribe lubricating drops although I explained I already tried them. As he rushed out to the next cash cow- I mean client- he said "just try it again and come back and see me in two weeks." this eye institute is like a patient mill. I felt Dr Graham lacked any sincere interest in listening to my symptoms and attempting to accurately address/assess. I was very disappointed and I will not return. This is a "turn and burn" type of office.
