I have submitted my insurance, my insurance company has tried to call, I have tried to call, nobody ever answers the phone, they just keep sending me bills (with the wrong insurance information) and threatening to send me to collection.
Great cardiologist
Is there ever anyone that answers their phone or return calls after someone leaves a message.
I’ve seen Dr Kakkar for 7 years now after I was diagnosed with atrial fibrillation. He has been fantastic. Admittedly as w most Drs offices, they can be difficult to navigate. But, Dr Kakkar knows what he is doing, talks with me about my medical issues and gives me options and listens. Highly recommended!!!!!
Dr. Kakkar has been my cardioligist for over 10 years. He is a great Doctor . He explains and answer your question thoroghly. Listens to you and makes sure that he give you the test necessary for a proper prognosis.
Sunil Kumasi treated a member of my family for a serious heart condition. My family member was in the hospital for a month, almost half of that in ICU, and during all that time Kumasi only saw him 4 times. His “team” that did come daily but they just kept talking about his being released, even when he was is clear a-fib, flutter, heart way too high or way too low, causing heart “pauses”. His team kept saying Kumar was aware of his condition, but they could never tell us what Kumar’s next treatment plan would be, until late in the day, the day before. Finally, after getting a second opinion, Kumar agreed that he need a pacemaker, which he claimed only the day before late afternoon surgery was to be scheduled, that he was avoiding because on my family member was so young (57). Right! Anyway, Kumar just gave him/us a list of 4 pacemakers and said “just pick whatever one you want and I’ll put it in him”. Seriously, Kumar did/said that! ?? My mechanic was more helpful and informative about the tires I got on my car than this “doctor” was about a piece of medical equipment he was going to put in a PERSON!! ?? Then, to top it all off, Kumar punctured his left lung during the pacemaker surgery and left him to suffer overnight with a collapsed lung. Just had the ICU nurse dope him up on morphine to keep him out until he could get there the next morning. He had to have a chest tube stuck in him to get the air out of the chest cavity so the lung could expand and heal. That added another 3 days to his hospital stay. This so called doctor may be good a what he does, but not as good as he clearly thinks he is (punctured lung) and he is terrible at communication, as is his team. They were always trying to guess what Kumar would do and were too often contradicting each other. Kumar and Cardiac Clinic are a joke and an example of the worst the so called health care system has to offer. Knowing what I know about them now, if I had to choose between Kumar/Cardiac Clinic and risk death to wait for another cardiac group, I’d risk death every time.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
