came here for help after throwing up 11 times all night .the drs don’t care and are rude as he double hockey stick. i had dr harris and talk about the WORST care i’ve ever had .
Awful hospital. All the scumbag things you hear about they will try to do to you. I got a CAT scan for no reason and never had one before for what I was experiencing. Turns out that if they believe they can CAT scan you, they will, and more than half the time, they won't use it. (Know this from someone who worked there as a tech in that department). Keep in mind that that CAT machine is not part of the hospital, so it might be out of coverage. They also made my partner wait in the lobby for 4 hrs for dehydration. Then, he tried to charge her for a room that long. This hospital is a scam and should be closed down.
Let’s be honest, no emergency department is ideal. I will say that after having been to Gulf Coast down the road, and discharge prematurely, they stepped up to the plate quickly and provided excellent care the whole way through, including the emergency department and the admission. I did return after being discharged for some unforeseen complications, but the emergency department did absolutely everything in their power to help get me back on my feet so that I could go home and continue recovering.
I worked
The staff was great but they made me sit in his hard reclining chair my body is so sore today I had to go there yesterday I was there for nine hours it was very uncomfortable especially having body pain in your back and my stomach
If you wanna be taken care of don't go here. I got into a car accident a month ago and broke my ankle. I got there at 10:30 am and didn't get looked at till 3. They never gave me a room they would take me wherever I needed to be then had me laying in a bed in the hallway. I had to yell at the top of my lungs for someone to notice I needed something, and I did the some for others in the same hallway. This was my 1st ever experience with anything broken and needing care and it was the worst one ever
This place suxs!!! Do not go here! Sat here for 5 hrs and never once saw a Dr! No one came to check on me they put me in the room shut the door and that was it! Other ppl had been there for over 8 hrs waiting! Couldn't find a nurse or anything! Shut this place down!
I went to Bay Medical on 5-4-23. I think I was having an Addison's Crisis. The Dr. there didn't know how to treat Addison's. This is a life threatening disease. It is rare but this doctor doesn't even know how to check it out or treat it. The Dr told me that Bay Medical DOES NOT TREAT ADDISON'S. This is unacceptable. I will never go back. They are there for what reason is beyond me... I would give it a 0 but could not.
Terrible place! ER staff who answered a phone has no manner. They are Ghetto Country folks there! They should be ashamed of calling themselves a hospital!
Ive been trying since 3/7/2023 to obtain copies of my husbands itemized billing from 2 consecutive stays, the last of which he died. All i’m getting is the runaround. I’ve called, faxed, and mailed them. Still nothing.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
