List of Primehealth Urgent Care's Reviews
I walked in and received immediate service. No waiting. The staff was friendly and helpful. Since I was leaving on vacation they put a rush on my test results so I would have them before I left and could get the correct meds. I highly recommend Prime Health urgent care in Port Charlotte.
I'm glad I found Ugent care. We are lacking on these places in this area. There was no wait. I needed xrays and they were done there and read by a radiologist in about 10 minutes. Everyone there was friendly and personable.
I visited Prime Health last week and was happy with the visit. The receptionist was friendly and efficient, the nurse was friendly and welcoming and Dr. Martina was wonderful. I left with an accurate diagnosis, they called in prescriptions to my pharmacy that worked quickly to relieve my symptoms, and I was also given some tips to help with the awful cough until the meds cured the issues (sinusitis and bronchitis). Thank you for a quick and easy way to see a doctor in a speedy way!
very inefficient personnel in office, not sure if EKG machine was working that day as they said it hasn't been, no x-ray machine on site for chest x-ray. Misplaced pre-op and appt orders from dr, then wanting me to pay $300.00 for tests that was already included by the dr. After I left, received a call the following day saying I have an appt. for pre-op tests which I was there and they couldn't/wouldn't do them without payment (that was already paid by the dr.) I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone who needs pre-op testing, due to their mistakes my surgery had to be rescheduled!
Visited Port Charlotte, Florida location while visiting from out of town. We loved the convenience of scheduling an appointment on-line. Staff was very professional, competent and friendly from check in to treatment to final instructions. Harry, the PA, showed concern, listened to our concerns carefully, and provided appropriate treatment and discharge instructions. Time in and out was approximately 30 minutes. We would highly recommend this location. Facility was extremely clean and the staff followed appropriate infection control measures.
Went to have X-ray on my foot , the X-ray tech was very helpful and polite he had a sense of humor which really made the experience great. And the nurse was also very helpful and kind.
Quick in and out, minimal wait time. Clean and bright.
Staff is incredibly friendly and efficient. Been there twice and had the same experience both times. Prime health needs to fix there website on scheduling appt. Does not confirm quickly enough
Nice new Urgent Care Clinic! Got seen in a short time period. Very nice and friendly staff. Doctor was very thorough! Would recommend.
Overall had a good experience. The place is very clean and staff is friendly. The only issue I have is with the charges. I have medicare and federal BcBs. If I use a preferred provider which they were listed as I have no copayment, yet I was charged $50.00 . I have used this insurance for almost 15 years and this is the first encounter with this problem. I have contacted BcBs to report this and I am waiting a response.Update: According to bc/bs there should not have been any copay on urgent care so please explain to me why I was charged $50.00?

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
