St. Joe’s has always had a special place in my heart for their care of my son was he was hospitalized there for 5 days when he 3 yrs old (ultimately diagnosed w/ Celiac Disease), but I wanted to say how incredibly pleased I am with the technician who did my sons Upper GI today. She was amazing. She knew instantly that he may not be able to keep the barium down and she talked and talked to him as she took the images and somehow she managed to get this test done successfully without him vomiting. She was awesome and I’m so thankful we were able to get through this test.
They serve you quickly and the staff is very friendly.
I went to Bartow emergency and was transferred to Lakeland. in the two hours I spent at Bartow I received more information than the two weeks I was in & out of Lakeland regional. Bartow is one of the best they truly care if you ever been to Lakeland regional you can tell the difference immediately, they don’t seem to care it’s just a job and don’t explain anything. I only wish Bartow was bigger to do more procedures so I can avoid Lakeland altogether. Keep up the fantastic work everyone at Bartow Are friendly caring and great
Best years of my work life 2007-2015 there.Learned so much-good mentors and then good hearted friends.
I love Baycare! I love everyone at Mease Countryside!
Some of the home care nurses are great but some of them have NO CLUE how to do their job properly. Some are not trained at all in how to take care of a wound also trying to get your supplies every week is impossible!! Our wound care center in lakeland insisted that we go with another company after my mother's wounds were not properly dressed and it set back recovery by almost 2 months... We are all very dissapointed in baycare!
Congratulations! After months of careful maneuvering to get my husband to have a CT scan, consult with my back pain specialists, etc, I finally got him to got him to agree to go the Barrett Center for physical therapy. I had to make the appointment myself for the initial evaluation for 7:15 this morning. That was three weeks ago, and we received no instructions since then except a robocall remainder. When arriving at that time today, he was told he was 15 minutes late and should have been earlier for the paperwork. Your new scheduling system leaves much to be desired. He filled out the forms and waited for the next appoint at 8:45, as at 7:15 they marked him a no-show and his therapist was already busy with someone else. At 8:55 he still hadn't been seen, so he left. He now refuses to have any kind of PT, anywhere. He has a number of health issues related to Agent Orange exposure in Vietnam, plus many other conditions that accompany a career in the Marines. He deserves better than to be treated like a misbehaving child, even if he wasn't my sole caregiver. Since I'm 100 percent disabled and limited to a wheelchair, his health is even more vital to my own. No one comes through our door without being paid, which adds to my own stress when his health care doesn't even meet minimal standards. I know how good the staff is from my own treatment there over a period of 12 years +, but this near-harridan attitude creates a needless barrier to treatment. I used to know who to take these issues to at Morton Plant Hospital, but along with the Rent-a-Doc ER staff there doesn't seem to be anyone left at the top who really cares about the people that ultimately provide their income. I suspect the MBA degrees now outnumber those with MDs at the CEO and/or COO level.
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
