Baycare Medical Group Primary Care's Online Review Report Card

BayCare suddenly stopped paying for the periodic iron infusions my elderly aunt depends on to be able to have any energy or mobility. She has been getting these life-saving infusions for several years and has now been told they are not covered. Is insurance only about profits now?

Dr. Mamo is a do little doctor. Don't waste your time here. All he cares about is $ sign's not people. I will never go back and you should not either. Thanks for reading.

My overall experience with Baycare has been ok, however I wanted to comment on a Cardiologist appointment I had recently with Dr. Geraldo Ramos. My appointment was scheduled well in advance for 11/07/24 @ 11:00 a.m.. After arriving 15 mins prior to my appointment, I was taken back to the exam room. 11:00 a.m. came and went. I sat there for 40 minutes and no physician or other staff checked on me, or to say things were running behind. I got up, went to the door, and a nurse practitioner was walking by, she asked "do you need anything?", I said I am here to see the physician, but I think they forgot me. She walked past me and went into another exam room without saying anything else, The MA overheard the conversations, came over and said, oh, you are next. I waited another 20 minutes, and told the person behind the check out desk that I was leaving as I had already spent an hour here, and I had other appointments. This experience was unprofessional, and not pleasant. I did not feel valued as a patient, and although Dr Ramos may of had a reason for missing my appointment, there is no excuse for leaving a patient alone in an exam room for an hour with no updates. I asked for him to acknowledge the missed appointment and it went unanswered. I guess his ego will not allow him to admit how lame it is to do this to a patient. I would also hope that Baycare does not bill Medicare or my supplemental for this encounter that never happened. I would not recommend this physician to anyone who does not have a lot of time on their hands to sit in a waiting room or exam room for a long time.

Absolutely, by far ,hands down,without a doubt...the worst group of unprofessional "professionals" I've ever had to deal with. The doctors are ok....it's just the staff! They don't answer the phone, never call you back,forget to schedule you but tell you that you are all good and scheduled. I've never seen anything like it .

Had an Endoscopy done yesterday at Mease Countryside & everyone from the minute we came in until I was wheeled out was friendly and efficient. It certainly relieved some of my stress to have such caring people around who could laugh and chat and answer any and all questions. And they were attentive not only to me but to my husband as he found a comfortable place to wait. From the doctors to the nurses to all the members of the staff, thank you for making this as comfortable an experience as it could be.

Terrible care and experience . Still suffering months after with no proper care and wrong diagnosis from hospital. Worst hospital ever

Had an appointment at 8:40am today. I did arrive at 8:52am, I apologize and I accept accountability for being late. This however resulted in my appointment being rescheduled for next week. They apologized for the mix up so I'm not sure if it was a mix of me being late and them having an office schedule mix up but they could not fit me in today. I will be back next week, will update if I have the same or better experience. They seem nice, I just don't think they viewed me as a patient this time around and more like a number. Again, I'll give it one more try next week.

FOR EVERYTHING but My experience in the ER and ICU for my wife was so Awesomely Amazing. Level of Professionalism and Patience for their Patients is Above All Others. They raised the Bar to unreachable levels. Thank you ALL so much from My Entire Heart.
