The one-hour drive to see Dr. Sierra is worth it in order to have a provider that meets my son right where he is with his special needs, anxiety, and sensory sensitivities. We have been to a few dentists and this is the only dentist that has ever been able to complete dental work (and a full exam) on my son. PLUS, my son always leaves with a smile and never in tears.
We drive an hour to see Dr. Sierra and it's worth it. My son has high anxiety and special needs plus had a terrible experience at a previous practice. The staff is very kind and patient. Dr. Sierra did work on my son over a year ago at the local surgery center and it went great. My son is nervous when arriving for cleanings, but the staff helps him feel at ease. Most recently, Dr. Sierra needed to remove my son's dental appliance. (My son's orthodontist could not remove it due to a specific issue and my son's lack of cooperation/anxiety.) I did my best to prep my son for the appointment and while he felt prepared, you could see his nervousness entering the office. Dr. Sierra and his assistant were great. Dr. Sierra's tone, demeanor, and honesty (plus the nitrous oxide 😉) really helped keep my son calm and the procedure was completed much faster than I expected. (Dr. Sierra also treated my little son's tongue tie after a botched job from another provider and it healed great and solved our nursing difficulties.) Thank you, Dr. Sierra and staff for meeting my son right where he is to make him feel safe while doing fantastic dental work.

Kids Smiles is amazing! Dr. Sierra and his staff are amazing. From the time you walk in to the time you walk out you are treated with care and excellent customer service. They really take their time with your child to make sure you have all your questions answered. I appreciate their expertise and kid friendly atmosphere.
Dr. Sierra is so amazing with kids!! He and his team are so incredible at what they do. Thank you for being so accommodating, concerned, and loving with my child! We've been to a few different places and they are FANTASTIC, trust me!! Thank you all so much!!
I’ve been to the Town n Country office 3 times now and overall not impressed. On my last visit, I checked in, had the appointment and checked out. At check out I was told my insurance was not in network. I was NEVER notified prior to the appointment and NOT when checking in. The office claims they notified and spoke to me. I NEVER received a phone call. Now they want me to pay them because they have it in their file that they spoke to me. If I was aware my insurance wasn’t in network I would have canceled the appointment. On a separate note, Dr. Kwon is very nice and knowledgeable. Dental hygienist are hit or miss in my opinion.
Highly recommend Dr. Sierra for tongue tied/lip tied procedures for newborns. Our experience was stress free and quick & painless for our son. Dr Prado was nice enough to stop in as well to answer our newborn questions. Over all great experience.
We were in search of a second opinion after having a horrible experience elsewhere and decided to try this place out after reading all the recommendations for Dr. Sierra. We ended up seeing Dr. Prado and couldn’t be happier!! She was so nice and understanding and didn’t talk down to us like some dentists do. Explained everything and recommended the most conservative treatment without overdoing it like the other place wanted to. The office staff were all very friendly and the visit didn’t take long at all. We’re so happy to have found a great new dentist that my daughter isn’t scared of!

My son at 19 months old was still not eating solid foods. We went to see Dr. Sierra and we were told he did have a tongue tie, but that he was not going to treat it. That my son had to learn how to use his tongue. Thankfully, we got a second opinion and worked with a lovely dentist in the area who at 2 years old did do the tongue tie release and my son had a severe posterior tie. After a month post-release he was able to successfully make a food bolus and bite, chew and swallow food. Our feeding therapist also recognized how severe of a tie my son had based off of working with him and listening to his speech (he had all of the signs of a posterior tie). I don't like to write bad reviews, but I was left discouraged leaving this office knowing my son needed help and given no direction of how to help him. When you are already struggling as it is and know your child needs help but left with nowhere to turn, it's very discouraging. I'm thankful we sought out a second opinion as my son is finally eating solid foods due to his tongue no longer being tethered to the floor of his mouth.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
