I started going to Dr. Banjoko about 2 and half years ago for depression and he also sees my son for ADHD. He recently moved to a new office and it is beautiful and spacious. Once or twice I had an issue with a front desk staff member last year but she is no longer there. The new girls are all fantastic. Dr. Banjoko listens to what I have to say and has brought me back from the depths of a horrible depression. I once again can find joy in life. It took trying a couple different meds to finally find the one that work. My son has had great care. I love the use of the computer test thing they do for ADHD. The report really opened my eyes to what the meds do to help him pay attention. I have loved watching Dr. Banjoko grow his office from just to a couple people to the large staff of providers and staff members he has now. It is one stop shopping for all your mental health needs. Overall I have had a great experience going to this office and would recommend it to everyone.
Amazing staff, wonderful physician! Would send anyone here!!
Have recently completed my third appointment with Dr. Banjoko. I find the staff to be very nice. The just moved to a new office that is very nice and has a lot more room than before. I watched a kid have a complete meltdown in the waiting room and the staff handled it very quickly and efficiently while showing a lot of compassion for both the child and what seemed to be a very distraught mom or grandma. Dr. Banjoko spent about 45 minutes with during my first appointment and now spends about 15 minutes with me at each of my follow ups. He is very knowledgeable and has answered all my questions and concerns. I would recommend to anyone.
Appointment Went Well I was referred to HBH and Dr Banjoko for TMS Therapy. The Dr was kind answered all my questions explained TMS to me was patient, and spent 45 minutes with me. The staff was friendly and seemed to be busy. The check in process was smooth, I used an IPAD to answer questions and fill out health history. I completed TMS therapy the TMS person I saw everyday was friendly empathetic and kind
I wasn't very pleased my first visit! I wanted to know more about a plan of action to help me. I wasn't told much about prescriptions and what to expect. I would have liked more doctor patient talking instead of asking questions and he didn't want to hear any more than a yes or no. I think it's important to get to know your patient better than rushing through everything. I didn't even get a hand shake or goodbye.
the experience I had with this doctor was terrible, he was unkind and rude to me on more than one visit. He has NO people skills whatsoever. He did not explain any of the meds that he prescribed, he never discussed a treatment plan or anything else for that matter. I would not recommend this "Dr." to my worst enemy.
Therapist cancelled my appt the day of (I was omw to the appt and got a text). The first time meeting the NP, she gave me some medicine that made me start hearing voices and telling me to kill myself if I thought about suicide (after 3 days of taking it). When I looked up the side effects, it clearly stated do not treat mood disorders with anti depressions. And I told her over and over again my previous diagnoses. Plus, I had a few mood swings while in the office with her. She seemed very short and frustrated, because I was explaining my answers. She only wanted yes or no answer to her questions. But my answers were not just clear cut yes or no. That's how she gave me the wrong diagnoses and meds! Instead of listening to me and watching my mood swings, she was too busy looking at two computer screen impatiently waiting for yes or no answers. It was a horrible experience, I will never go back to this office.
Gets defensive when wanting to come off medication (which was recommended by another medical professional) Takes you off of them in a way that can easily put you into a hospital. Very incompetent and prideful doctor not looking out for patients best interest. Should get reported for malpractice at this level of care or lack there of.
I went to his office for counseling and found myself being prescribed an antidepressant. I was suffering suicidal thoughts and the prescription's drug facts listed that suicidal thoughts would worsen during use. When I mentioned the side effects he tried to make me feel stupid for looking it up and pushed the drug to the point of almost threatening me. It felt like he and the staff cared more about prescribing pills than treating people who are suffering.
Banjoko hardly pays attention to detail, never explained the medicines, prescribed a way too large dosage knowing that my body can't handle it, lied about the dosage, and gave medicines that nearly killed me.

All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
